This song was so beautiful and the music video added so much depth and context to the lyrics as well which i really appreciated!
I did some digging around on the meaning of the song and found a lot of theories. I just want to send IU a big hug and so much love because baring your emotions like that to the world must be so scary but she did so well.
This song was a 10/10, I have loved every single IU song I've heard so far! I can see why she is Jungkook's type LOLL jk jk >:)

Hi Peachy! I'm new to your videos but after seeing a few of your YouTube reactions I had to find you on Patreon too haha. I'm sure others have mentioned it, but you should really see the clip of IU and Suga singing this live together on IU's show called 'Palette', it's really amazing! You would probably also really enjoy her episodes featuring the members, they're all wonderful, but if not then at least Yoongi's live performance!

PSY proposed Yoongi to feature the song and eventually convinced him to dance the choreo too lol Anyway, I know this is kind of random but look at this video of IU's reaction to Namjoon and Yoongi talking about the song.. As others have mentioned he performed it with IU on her show Palette. She also performed this (alone) as the opener for her 2022 concerts in Seoul and the official video of it is amazing (and fun to know JK was in the crowd!!)

But after watching the explanation by DKDKTV it makes sense. But either way the song is so sad when reading the lyrics. But the upbeat of the music makes it a banger too. It is like I don't know whether to be happy or sad when listening. IU has a gorgeous voice. I have a few of her songs on my kpop Playlist. I really do need to go through discography though. My niece loves her music. Her song Lilac is also another good song. Also Ending Scene the one she did a duet with Tae on her show. JK also did a cover of that song too. That was the first time I heard it was with JK. But now that you have heard Eight you need to watch Suga's interview on IU'S Palette. I had sent you the link in Tae's video.

I loveeeee animation so this video was enchanting with its transitions, so ethereal both in voice and in visuals, Yoongi also seduced me with his voice here even though the song is actually quite sad!
