Seeing this man locked into his choreo, so in sync with his dancers and popping off with these vibes all while rapping every line of Haegum was just what I needed today.
Yoongi is definitely a sleeper agent, acting cool all the time so by the time we see him perform he reminds us that he is AGUST MUTHA EFFING D, BABY!

But if you have been able to browse Naver, you can find old blogs of people who have seen D-Town Boys not only rap battle but their b-boying as well. The videos are hard to find on YouTube, but there are some on Naver, just have to do some searching. He's also talked about it a few times but he doesn't make a habit of mentioning it a lot. So it can get missed often. So thank you for bringing this up.💜

Yoongi said "of course coz I'm an Idol too" or something like that. All 7 of them truly dances really well. Of course Hobi and Jimin are quite exceptional. 🥰

What's funny was that he said he actually loves to take shooting "Dance Practices", whaaaatttt!?😂😂😂 Is that him🐱 that their dance teacher, Mr. Sun Sungd-Duek, now performance director of HYBE?, once said Yoongi often skipped lessons in the restroom!?? 2025-01-08 05:56:37 +0000 UTCbelieve it or not, yoongi DID have dance experience before bts! he was part of a b-boy crew... there are a few old performance videos floating around out there. sadly, the accident that wrecked his shoulder when he was a trainee left him in chronic pain for years, and I believe that is what turned him off from dance. it caused him so much suffering (that he couldn't even tell people about at first)... then around the time of Black Swan it got so bad he could barely use that arm. 😭 of COURSE he always complained about having to dance so much back then! post-surgery yoongi with his fresh new shoulder is a whole different beast. he seems to have rediscovered the love for dance that was always there, and it turns out he's actually REALLY good! now, knowing that he started taking lessons again to relearn the basic foundations... I'm so excited to see where he takes it!

During the HYYH era one of the members said they were peaking and Yoongi said at the time that he can't peak yet because he wants to be more handsome and Yoongi definitely did not peak at the time. This man only gets more fine with age. I am so glad I was able to go to the DDay concert in LA and the day I went was when Halsey came as a guest and it was amazing. Yoongi is so talented and good looking! PS: Yoongi may not have wanted to dance at first, but I'm glad he does because he is an amazing dancer.
