it was such a nice adventure seeing the boys explore Sweden and reminisce on their old journey here for their photoshoot 💖 I also loved seeing so many people stopping them to ask for photos and how Hobi handled the situation like a boundary setting king 🤣
There were so many highlights but unfortunately the episode takes a turn towards the end and I’m just hoping they can somehow miraculously figure it out so RM can be on the cruise with the members!
do you think there’s anywhere in the world BTS can walk around freely like they were in this episode or are those days completely behind them now? 😭

Also, YES to a Hobi Being the Second Leader compilation. You won't get any flack. Since early on, we've all known Hobi as the second leader. Even Namjoon when asked who he would give the leader role to if it wasn't his, he said j-hope. And Jin once gave Hobi the "Second Leader" award. It's like common BTS knowledge. Namjoon and Hobi are our "Leader Line"--the Leader and the Dance & Performance Leader and it never diminishes the huge role Joon has had since the group was formed around him in 2010. So no worries, promise. If anyone gives you flack, they're a real hater and we'll take care of them. haha. PLEASE DO REACT! :)

He helped rebuild a run-down dog shelter and even through his military service sent food monthly to support it. He rescued a kitten on set once, too. It had bad eyes so he personally took it to a vet and went back to visit it several times as it got better and found someone to take the kitten in. He also once shared a video from a not-well-known Korean artist who was matching a donation for views up to $5M so ARMY got the video to 5M streams. j-hope also helped popularize the paw-in-hand app because he shared a screenshot where he had it open on his phone and it's an app that helps rehome abandoned animals and reunite people with lost pets. I'm a big animal lover and I think how you treat animals says more about who you are as a person than almost anything. j-hope is such a warm soul. They really do all love animals though. It's always so wholesome when we get interactions with Bangtan and animals.

This trip is part of the reason sane armys tried to adopt the policy of trying to ignore them in public if we see them, so they can enjoy their free time. There are always crazies who still follow them around though, ofc it’s gotten worse the more famous they get 🥲

JK was 18 here, so old enough to drink in europe! Jimin was 20, I think you’re right about this being his “cool era”. People overlook it because he’s SO charming and sociable and sweet and extroverted, but he is definitely pretty shy too, especially back in earlier days. Still so sad for Namjoon having to leave… I love him. And he’s so mature, you’re completely right. Not many 21 year olds would react like that. (Don’t want to annoy you with requests so feel free to ignore this, but do you have a time frame of when you might continue Rise of Bangtan? I think you’d get a lot more from it now that you know and love them so well and it’s so good at giving context and the timeline/making connections!)

2024-11-21 14:21:55 +0000 UTCwhen Jin, Hobi, and Jimin found their old photoshoot place, hobi wasn't saying yoongi lol he was saying yeogi (yo-gee), which means here and geogi (go-gee) which means there :) and yes you were kinda right with why they didn't (and still dont) take pictures with fans when they're out and about (in their personal schedules or during shows) because 1. the fans don't know they're shooting a show so that ruins that surprise, and 2. there's a possibility that fans will post that picture with them online and then people will know where they are and possibly try to find them (or book flights like you said, which only the crazy fans would do that lol) (i guess this comment will be me just responding to all your questions during this episode lol) but yes the noise you said JK and hobi make a lot is a Korean thing, they basically use it when they want to express that something is good the song jimin was singing in the elevator on the cruise was indeed yoongi's part but it was not fake love LOL it was I Need U (fake love wasn't out until 2018, this is 2016)

2024-11-21 12:50:38 +0000 UTCBtw, for anyone language-interested: In romanised Korean (aka writing korean with english alphabet) the "eo" is one sound, not e and o pronouced seperatly. Think of how Seoul (Korea's capital) is written with the "eo", but pronounced like "soul". Hence the "seok" in Ho-seok and Seok-jin (both 2-syllable names) is not "se-ok". So if you catch yourself needing 3-syllables to say their names something went wrong. idk why the standardisation committee went with "eo" for that sound, neither do i know what would be a more intuitive way for an english speaker to spell (because english is not my native language) but google explains it like this: 어 eo (as in "son") 여 yeo (as in "yawn") 오 o (as in "go") 요 yo (as in "yoga")
