there’s some sort of magic that Jk and Yoongi create when they are together. The way they both beam with pride for one another, ensure to build each other up every chance they get and always cherish the time they spend together, you can really see and feel how much they love each other when they interact. 🥹💜
this episode gave me such an insightful perspective on jungkook’s golden album, all of the work that he put into it and even that I somehow missed that half the album is about being in love and the other half is about losing love.
UGH I love these men and I loved this episode plus the special guest was the best surprise ever HEHEHE

So about the encore performance they were talking about. After an idol wins a music show, they often do an encore performance that isn’t broadcast, but uploaded later online. It’s often tricky for performers because it’s live vocals with no backing track. Sometimes the artist just talks to the fans a bit and maybe sings the chorus, but Jungkooks video from inkigayo went viral particularly in Korea because it was so impressive! The 3:37 they’re referring to is the timestamp in the video where you can hear one army in particular singing (very loudly and not so much in tune!) the days of the week. I don’t think jk was out of breath, I think he was just really endeared and found it funny! He later posted on Weverse “3:37, show yourself” or something like that, and then went live. The song at 54:13 is his self written, composed and produced song for Army STILL WITH YOU. He wrote it during the pandemic when Army was missing them and he was missing performing in front of them. He sung it live at the end of his showcase and you could see he was holding back the tears because he knew it would be the last time he would be performing before enlisting.

And the translation will probably be better, because the concert was translated "live" and the subtitles were slightly delayed and inaccurate.

I wanted to suggest another collab. It’s a short clip but tae performed IU’s song with her called ending scene. It’s so good because of the contrast in their voices but when they start harmonizing I wanted to just die on the spot. If you decide to check it out I’d suggest reading the lyrics first it’s heart breaking. Basically about how when you break up it hurts more that they care about your well being and say things like “I hope you’re sleeping and eating well” hmmm we just broke up I’m dying bruh don’t say sweet endearing things when ya just left. And we make plans to visit each other whenever we can, despite the flights needed to achieve that. Like literally I’m picking up my sister from the airport tomorrow morning coz she’s visiting me for the next month. Cherish these moments with your siblings. It’s something you’ll never gain back if you miss on it today.

I do not bias hobi or yoongi but I will always say if I think they’re not getting equal attention cause to me they have the most content so it’s weird when they always end up having the least videos. He had a whole ass tour. Probably has the most writing and producing credits after RM. The content is there. They are also the most awarded. Yet they have the least videos or the videos with them are more about Jin or jk. Again it’s okay to have favorites but the channel could be better. The other boys aren’t just there for decoration or to solely support Jin and JK. They are amazing artists in their own right. Just had to say something. Y’all can curse me out.
