Getting to experience the Save Me music video was already an out of body experience but to see it live was just something else ESPECIALLY with the twist of them performing I’m fine as well!
It was my first time listening to I’m fine and just WOW. The vocals, the rapping, the energy and the choreography was a masterpiece! These men always find such special and iconic ways to perform their music in the most telling and impactful ways. 💜

So much so that if you dig deeper, RM’s takes his verse from Save Me and flips it around, both in order and in meaning. From the sad cry for help that Save Me was, where they needed someone to literally save them in what seems to be a co-dependent relationship, in I’m Fine (from the album Love Yourself: Answer), they talk about being okay with the darkness and being able to deal with things on their own. So if you notice, the intro to Save Me and I’m Fine are also reflections of each other, just like that ambigram of Save Me (which you will also spot in the Fake Love mv) being flipped to read I’m Fine. And this is why it’s important to listen to whole albums and not just the title tracks. B-sides (songs on an album that are not the main singles and don’t have music videos) like I’m Fine are very significant part of the BTS discography but will be missed if people only listened to the promoted songs with music videos. BTS is one of those rare artists who still create concept albums where each song in the album help to tell a story. And in their case, it’s not even just one album at a time telling a story. They usually do trilogies. So it’s 3 albums in a row telling a whole story which won’t make sense if you only watch the mvs.

Running Wild is the title track of Happy (even though I’ll be there was released first, it doesn’t make it the title track. It’s actually considered a pre-release single). The other songs on the album are B sides. BTS B sides do not get mv for the most part. In this case I’m fine doesn’t have an mv, but it does get live performances when BTS do concerts

Jin was supposed to do it but he complained so yoongi did it instead and on that comment I reacomend a video where yoongi exposed Jin but also she broke the chore down.
