It blows my mind how the boys are constantly raising the bar and doing performances like this. The planning, the thought, the talent, EVERYTHING that they do for us is just wow, I feel unworthy to even be a baby army and enjoy this LOL
I’m being dramatic but still! I feel like a goof for taking this long to discover BTS because I was missing out before but now I’m dedicated and refuse to miss out on anything else!!

I always wondered how they managed awards season- all these big shows are around the same time of year and they used to do something special for each one. And during this award season they also did Jingle Ball in LA, New Year’s Rockin Eve in NYC, AND they were preparing for the Grammys plus Map Of The Soul 7 and the MOTS tour… like I would be TIRED!!

I don't know if it was because of the music or because of his performance... I Need You always holds a special part in my heart. It's one of the first BTS songs I heard, and HYNH is also really special in my heart, and this I Need You instrumental version really hits differently. And Jimin's dance magic...Idk...It just brought tears to me.

They did performed three times at the Grammys already , the 1st one as a feature artist with Lil Nas , 2nd was remote performance from Seoul with Dynamite and in 2022 they performed the legendary Butter Performance (highly recommend this one) especially the obstacles that they had to go through and still performed legendarily (I use the word legendary a few times now for they are legends).

For the song Mikrokosmos (Milky Way setting) and the horses are pre recorded. And some solo are also pre recorded too like Tae,Jin,Jk Suga and Jhope. Only Jimin and RM did it live but I heard Jk still did his solo live but no water involve. But still one of their great performance in a award show. If my information are wrong sorry. 💜💜💜

I don't even get my hopes up about the grammys anymore, and I don't think BTS do either. They know it's BS, but it is still so infuriating that they keep snubbing them (for awards anyway, they're more than happy to have them perform for the views they bring in -- and on that note you should check out the iconic butter performance they did at the grammys in 2022!). Also mad that they robbed us of a 2seok kiss. lmao we could have had it all.... sigh.

This was meant to be their last award show performance before enlisting, so they literally went all out, but the BTS law for military was announced which they could postpone enlistment until age 30 which gave Jin a couple more years. 2024-11-11 14:47:30 +0000 UTCOkay, so part of that was definitely pre-recorded (performed live in front of ARMY but recorded beforehand to show on screen and on tv during the live show). Mikrokosmos was pre-recorded to give them time to change and setup for the whole last leg of the performance. JK’s solo dance was also pre-recorded because they tried to do it live but couldn’t do it in time for him to dry up. He still performed live on stage but not with the water. The horses were definitely pre-recorded. They had to pre-record that section with no audience and no music to not startle the animals. They just aired that section for the tv audience.

2024-11-11 12:30:18 +0000 UTCI will always be amazed by how Jimin was the only one to perform his solo live in front of the audience bc his routine was the most risky. Working with a prop is not easy especially with a flowy material like a cloth that is hard to control. And he did all sorts of acrobatics too. It still would’ve been iconic even if it was a prerecorded performance but doing it live made it so much more impressive and impactful to the audience. I loved hearing the freaking out screams in the beginning cus you can tell they did not expect that 😂

It’s just so majestic and beautiful. Watching this makes me miss the boys even more 😔 Their award shows are like no other. Like who else does this!! The whole performance is breathtaking. They're in a world of their own, really. The Grammys just like using them for views, acknowledging their popularity worldwide, but would never actually give them the awards they deserve. Tbh, Grammys needs BTS more than BTS needs the Grammys.

The fourth song (after the outfit change) was "Mikrokosmos" (it was written in the bottom left corner). And regarding your question about Jungkook's in-ear: He has white ones and on one there is the BTS logo and on the other the ARMY logo (that's why it just looks like two lines). On half of the logo is red, the other half blue (which mixed together makes purple)
