I have seen this performance clipped into so many compilations, I'm glad I had the time today to fully enjoy the entire thing.
I love seeing the BTS boys in this vintage/retro style so much - it really suits them! I also think this is the first time I heard many of the member's live vocals without a lot of background effects on and it was such a treat for my ears!! These boys have some of the clearest vocals I have ever heard in my LIFE and ttheir talent just keeps me wanting to come back for more!!

The low vocals at the end of Spring Day was Hobi. If you want to react to Spring Day, please also watch the explanation video by the Italian ARMY at the same time. This song is basically the unofficial National Anthem. It has been on Korean charts every day since released over seven years ago. It’s still there today. But the meaning is very deep. This song is important.

Girl you really need to watch more live performances and listen to new songs! When I tell you that Spring Day is THE QUEEN. Truly one of the top favorite songs between army and non-armys. That song literally has never left the charta in Korea since it came out almost 8 years ago and well.. it's so funny bc it always climb up in charts in general every time there's a new BTS or solo release. There're so many memes about it lol. I hope you watch the MV some day and of course an explanation video about it bc it's really meaningful. 💜 By the way, you forgot to turn on the cc that showed they lyrics of each song but it's okay! I love how immersed you were into their performance and their passion through their voice. P.S: I LIVE FOR HOBI'S SINGING VOICE! He always come with something new and surprise us even if we know he can sing at some degree. He's really good!

You absolutely should - on a day when you’re prepared to have a strong emotional response. Whilst it may be upsetting, it’s vital to understanding a bit more about an incident that had a huge impact on Koreans, especially those of BTS’s generation (the majority of those affected were the exact same age Jung Kook was at the time). It also may grow your appreciation of BTS’s artistry to see how they tackled such important subject matter via the music video medium. To help lighten the mood after the Spring Day explained video, I’d like to recommend this 4 minute video. BTS, divided into 2 teams being cute & funny as they play games - losing team had to perform a “CUTE” version of Spring Day. The harmonies in this performance are stunning (especially between Hobi and JK) and I love when the vocals go from Tae to Jin or Jimin because there’s such a beautiful pitch contrast! Also I’m sure you’ll love the Dear Class of 2020 performance (they sing Boy with Love, Mikrokosmos, and Spring Day) 💜💜 Hobi’s melodic rapping so beautiful & I love how Jimin’s voice is so unique! Also I think COVID was really hard on all the members and JK in particular, they were all just starting to come out of that funk!

I had been watching BTS content since Spring 2020, the Black Swan dance practice was what first made me take notice, but I was really slow to “commit” or identify as ARMY. But I watched this Tiny Desk as soon as it came out in the Fall and literally the moment it ended I thought to myself, “huh, yeah I’m definitely ARMY.” 😭💜 Also, just wanted to share the best Hopekook harmonization ever. English starts at 14:03. The title is “BTS #BreakWings vs Today’s HYBE Hate”. I think you should watch the video “Jung Kook the Main Vocalist of BTS” to more appreciate why he was given that position. He does a lot more than many realize.

Sounds counterintuitive but you release neck tension when you bend down which makes it easier to hit those high notes. So if you see singers do that, that’s why😅 Sometimes it may look performative but there’s a method to the madness

But what always impresses me the most is his ability to elevate a song by his perfect harmonizing and ad libs without it being obvious or overpowering the artist performing at that moment. It's such a rare talent for an artist to be able to hit that sweet spot every time. Jimin's vocals just get more angelic every year. But I was also thrilled to hear some of his bad ass lower register vocals on his albums. You definitely have to watch Hobi at Lollapalooza. Girl, he killed it! It was the first solo concert the guys had after hiatus announcement and JHope was so stressed out, he lost a lot of weight. But his performance was outstanding. On a side note, Jungkook, Jimin, RM, JHope and V all have submitted for Grammy nominations this year. The nominees will be announced on Nov 8th. I swear, all of them better be nominated in their categories or I'm gonna rage. 😡

2024-11-02 11:45:20 +0000 UTCCameron Phillips is a really inspiring Canadian ARMY, he is so young when he started become ARMY i think its in 2015 or 2016, but i have seen all his old reaction videos as an ARMY and now making his name for himself starting a career as a singer being so inspired by BTS, he is a queer person, he has such a soft heart and so talented, he is an OG ARMY all his BTS dubs series are so funny but also nasty af...lol, his BTS cover are also so goood, he remix BTS song sometimes and he would make BTS proud honestly, he is now busy with his music career and also advocating anti Israel movement, showing support to the genocide victim in Palestine, Lebanon, congo, Sudan, but still doing patreon for fun.

And I cant recommend any other groups. I do like other groups music though. But BTS is where it's at for me. I only stan one other group and it's a girl group XG. The MV is a dedication for children losing their lives in a terrible tragedy and the government tried to cover it up. This explanation video I'm gonna link is the best one to explain the MV and the meanings behind it. It's a very beautifully sad watch. People will complain and tell you to watch the Italian army one but that one barely talks about BTS or the meaning of the MV. It's goes way deeper into the politics of it all and it's very triggering. It's also hard to follow because the video is not in English. Italian army barely mentions BTS or the MV so I don't understand why it's recommended so much. This video I'm linking explains and tells you the main things you need to know about the mv and BTS involvement. The choreography for spring day is really beautiful too.

It's called if BTS were dubbed and they are wild videos. Hopefully you enjoy the humor. The videos are made by Cameron Phillips and he was a former Army who knows his stuff. 2024-11-02 07:33:57 +0000 UTCThe BTS Tiny Desk marked a key moment for me in my ARMY journey. I had found BTS maybe 2 weeks before this concert aired via Dynamite. I’m embarrassed to admit this but in the beginning I wished they sang more in English. Until Save Me that is. I’m writing this at the point where you’ve just heard Jimin’s opening lines and you’ve voiced what I now feel; it’s great to be able to sing along to their English lyrics but there’s something so special when they sing in Korean - or even Japanese. It’s more than just them sounding gorgeous - which is undeniable. It’s the way they convey the song’s emotion so well through their performance that the language barrier no longer exists. The thing that impressed me most in my baby ARMY days was how faultless BTS are. I watched this countless times on my own plus every reaction video, curious to see if anyone would pick up on even a weak note. I can’t think of any other group that has such strength across all of its members. It blew me away as my experience with groups before BTS would be that they’d have 1-2 top vocalists and then there would be a marked drop in quality so the other members relied on different strengths or would essentially be band fillers.
