Ep3 Just give me a smile | BTS: Burn the Stage REACTION!

This show has me in a choke hold, okay?!

I have learned SO much more about BTS in just 3 episodes of this show and that gets me amped up to watch more.

This episode was PACKED with so many juicy facts and also cute moments of the members in the earlier days of BTS, it is so cool to know how much closer they have gotten with each other. I'm sure at this point they know everything about each other too, although it was funny seeing Jimin's reaction to Yoongi telling him about his shoulder injury again lol.

What era of BTS is your fave?! I'm so curious!!

Thanks for sharing more accurate details…I’m for sure not an expert!☺️💜

MinWii

i might be wrong but i think it's "ie" when talking about someone, "ah" (or "ya" if the name ends in a vowel sound, like Yoongi-ya) when you're addressing someone directly. So the i in Hobi is Hobie as in Hope-ie, and that's what they call him when they're talking ABOUT him. When they're talking TO him they call him Hob-ah.

KRip23

😭😭😭😭😭😭

Sakyiwaa Mensah

it's the way i read your comment and I was like "EXCUSE ME?!?!" and then I realized you were quoting me and now I'm just in shock that I even said that in the first place HAHAHAHA

Peachy Saiyan

Surely this is part of all western Armies journey! Welcome Peachy!! Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

MinWii

“Lemme Whisper in your cheeks”???!!OmG Peachy😭😭😭😭😭😂😂😂

Sakyiwaa Mensah

Highly recommend watching yoongi's song "The Last". There's a lot of things that he shares in that song for the first time. Very raw and you can truly feel his emotions.

Tarmill

I love and hate league but that’s my game lmaooo 🤣🩷 it started with Jimin being my bias and now it’s also J Hope 🥹 but I love all 7 the same T-T I’ve had friends and family members who have been army for years and I was like “ya’ll weird” but look at me now lmao learning their lyrics in Korean xD

Kat

Stop!! That’s almost the same story as me 😭😭 Spotify is out here creating baby army’s LMAO!! I also love that you play League as well eeek!! Do you have a bias? 💜🥰

Peachy Saiyan

For about 4 months 🥹 I’ve not the type of person that gets really into artists but these guys are really special and I’m so into them🫶🏻 I was playing league one night and listening to my anime playlist and one song started playing randomly. The song wasn’t even on my playlist 😅 but it was such a beautiful song and I was like “man who is this?!!” 😭 it was Your Eyes Tell by BTS and I immediately ran to YouTube to watch live performances of that song…that’s how I became a fan. One of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard and it’s so underrated. One thing led to another and I wanted to learn more about them lol ❤️ you still haven’t gotten to their Japanese songs, but they’re all so beautiful 🥰

Kat

Yesss this show is incredible!!!!

Peachy Saiyan

WHAAAT?! Omg nooo i need an MV 😭 jk I’m just being dramatic, I’m sure the dance practice will be amazing too!!

Peachy Saiyan

Festa 2022, bet!!! I love meeting other baby army’s 😭💜💜 sorry if I’ve asked but how long have you been an Army for? 🥹💜💜

Peachy Saiyan

Living with seven people for so long sounds like a nightmare even if those are my favourite people in the world 😭😂 I’m so glad they got their own spaces now especially because distance also makes the heart grow fonder!!

Peachy Saiyan

Definitely agree! Army is by far the most supportive community I have ever been a part of besides my own lil online twitch community. You’ve all been so kind to me and welcoming, it sucks that Army gets a bad rep sometimes!!

Peachy Saiyan

Will I cry?! TT__TT

Peachy Saiyan

ahhh true!!

Peachy Saiyan

CUTE!!! adding it to my list hehe

Peachy Saiyan

OOHH HEHEH I thought it was Hobi being cute!! Thank you for letting me know, I love learning these lil things!!!

Peachy Saiyan

yes 🤣 and if names without consonants like what they call hobi “hobah” “V-ya”. But for seokjin since he’s the oldest he always has “hyung” after his name so the members often call him “seokjinnie hyung or seokjin hyungie” It sounds cute to us but for them it’s normal 😭

noel

Hi Peachy! Jungkook’ee’ sounds adorable to western ears, but I discovered they add the ‘ee’ sound after words that end in consonants.☺️ It’s still adorable!!😂

MinWii

I love how fast you're cranking out these BTS Burn The Stage reactions. I can't wait to see more!

Mayra

There is no official video for Butterfly. I recommend the Butterfly dance practice. The choreography is beautiful!

RJ_875

Peachy, you should react to the video “Jimin is super attentive to others and the members” Youll love it 💜💜

And it’s so wild to know that we really had no idea he was still struggling that much with it until the sudden announcement that he had surgery and would be taking a break from group activities. It was a 🤯 moment for me

steph

I think also the claim that army is the “worst” fandom has been so pervasive that new kpop fans come in already thinking it without even knowing why they feel that way. It’s all just a game of telephone and documented history gets rewritten every 5 minutes to make BTS and armys out to be the villains 😐

steph

At 50 min when you were asking about what Jungkook said: When someone was at the door he said "nuguseyo" which means "who is it?" and is something you say when answering the door. In the song he is saying "annyeonghaseyo" which is the standard greeting It's a bit hard sometimes hearing different verbs in Korean when they have the same ending, like "-seyo" is just one formal ending

Riri

Pls react to them exhausted after performing behind the scenes https://youtu.be/eLHdqfJKeq8?si=dw2wdOmI-vI4dQTF

I love Burn The Stage 🤍 as a baby army myself I feel like watching this helped so much I love their docu series so much. So glad you’re watching peachy 🫶🏻 I know you have questions about who released albums first Jhope was the first to release an album but that’s during ch2, where the boys decided to focus on their solo stuff. You should watch Festa 2022! I highly recommend it They go in depth about their hiatus and their solo stuff. It’s just an hour long and you’ll learn a lot, also it’s very emotional 🤍

Kat

The argument is so iconic because it's not something Army was expecting yes we knew they had there disagreements but nothing had been aired like this before and it just shows how humble and human they are to want to show that not everything is all rosy behind the scenes, especially at stressful times. In their last festa dinner together as a group, as much as they'd all enjoyed living together and the memories they had made, it was finally time for them to all leave the dorm as seven men living together for so long can take its toll and they needed their own space now. Obviously they had their enlistment coming up as well but they couldn't tell us that then.

Karen

ARMY gets a bad rep because people can't stop hating and throwing shade on BTS and ARMY, then the moment ARMY speaks up or fights back, everyone's crying about how evil ARMY is. Example: everything that's happening right now with Yoongi, MHJ, etc. The hate and the shade never stops.

LoveOT7

Yoongi is talking about a lyric in his song "The Last" which, until this moment, he never fully explained to the other members. It's one of Yoongi's BEST, and most raw, songs. There's a reason that ARMY streamed "The Last" after his DUI. There's no MV, but there's a really good lyric video: https://youtu.be/DB_AP7DLQ0w?si=jxPcPGhb3A_cWxqc And a live performance from his tour: https://youtu.be/mjwYlPYC7C0?si=Y4xxwVR_zUgJdji_

Girl BTS is just as close with Army like back in the days or even closer! Of course when they did stadiums turn the stage is a little bit far than the stage but the guys always try to connect with army so some times they go down and touch hands, take videos with army's phone and gift them things like hats, bags, flowers, water, etc! There's even a clip of Jungkook literally jumping on the crowd in the middle of a concert to greet an army that was in a wheelchair. It was so sweet but dangerous ngl and security immediately panicked lol. Some army's ran towards him bc of the excitement, but think I they really shouldn't have donde bc he, the girl or more army's could result hurt. Thank god nothing happened but that was crazy! Also BTS until 2019 did fan meetings or fan signs so they talked for like a minute with every army, hold hands, etc. Now they haven't done that but they still do fan meeting or go to other shows just than in another scale, they perform or talk with armys and they get very close and sometimes sit between them and take pics together. I remember that Taehyung last year did a fan meeting and he brought 4 armys to the stage and they played games with Jimin and some of the staff (It's called VICNIC and you can find part of it on YouTube) It was the best! And of course we can't forget Jin hugging 1000 armys and then performing and talking with them. He’s actually going to do another event for HAPPY and he’s going to shake hands with 700 lucky armys 😭💜

these always warm my heart 🥹🥹🥹

Yoongi didn't get surgery to completely fix his shoulder until 2020. He spent so many years in pain I'm so happy he went ahead with the surgery. As far as we know he healed nicely.

Tiffany

They also released a documentary on Disney+ last year! It’s called Beyond the Star and it’s worth a watch! On the mixtapes, Namjoon was the first to release a mixtape. The rapline’s solo discography is like this: 2015 RM - RM 2016 Augst D - Agust D 2018 j-hope - Hope World & RM - Mono 2020 Agust D - D2 2022 j-hope - Jack in the Box & RM - indigo 2023 Agust D - D Day 2024 j-hope - hope on the street & RM - RPWP

Junkook was actually 13 when he joined bighit as a trainee and 15when he debut. In Korea the aging is bit different so 15 Korean age is 13 international age

Tigerbear🐯🐻

That fight actually is the reason these two are more closer to each other now. Can't wait to see your reaction to it :P

I always get so emotional again watching these… Jungkook working until his body completely breaks only for army… and yoongi talking about his shoulder again.. I’m glad he got surgery that shoulder story is always stuck with me 🥺

Halphoria

Can you please react to a live performance of Butterfly since there isn’t an MV? The live is so beautiful and the choreo too. https://youtu.be/qX8OXHyB37U?si=cu7_GKTnFKB3mwZx

I'm glad you're watching and enjoying Burn the stage this early on in your army journey. It's always the best thing to do to learn about them directly through them. The boys have showed their raw side here in these series. No filter. Bring the soul, break the silence, beyond the story (book), and beyond the star are the same as well, just raw unfiltered sides of the boys
