I was so excited to show Sasu this masterpiece of a trilogy that Yoongi cooked up! The dark tones, the insane lyrics, the acting - just PERFECTION!! It was such a treat to watch this video again!

Yoongi is my bias. I love the way he thinks and how he expresses himself. Definitely watch the breakdown videos. The DKDKTV explanation for Deschwita is awesome and the Bookish Theories channel has great explanation videos for haegum and Amygdala

This is due to butchery being seen as dirty work. The town butcher also served as the executioner when it needed was needed. As Suga walks down the street, he makes direct eye-contact with the butcher, something that just wasn’t done at the time. Why did he? Well, the butcher is called to execute Yoongi, but he liberates him instead. Haegeum: The bald guy cowering on the floor making a phone call. (He is calling the dirty cop Yoongi to tell him he is being robbed.) As criminal Yoongi is leaving with the money, he makes eye contact with that bald guy. They obviously know each other. Later, this same bald guy is the one dunking Yoongi in the water barrel. Since we know he and Criminal Yoongi know each other, it is assumed he planted the gun to kill the dirty cop.

And I know why you do, it's because when JK sang daechwita for karaoke, he switched the lyrics to be funny (and probably to tease yoongi, as he loves to do). Also, I think the name is pronounced like the month. August D. (or if you've got the same cute accent as yoongi, it sounds a little like "ah-goost" or "oh-ghost" lol) that is, unless you're like JK and saying ah-GUST D to be funny, and the joke went over my head... in which case carry on 😊

That's why first-time reactions are so precious, because you experience what everyone else did the first time we watched it too. You don't have to get everything thing the first time. You could just watch it again another time and/or read the lyrics through a lyric video or just the lyrics by themselves and slowly you start to understand a bit more each time you watch it or like me, learn more about the music video by watching reaction videos like this, pointing out things I, myself didn't notice. I love how you, Peachy, take the time to analyze, make your own predictions, research, etc, and have done the same with your partner, Sasu present. It shows you care. Btw Peachy, "We're our greatest enemy" Sasu is simply just spitting facts. I hear no lies lol

The eye scar is self inflicted (Amygdala) The pill popping reference in both Suchwita and Amygdala are both a dis to haters but also convey his taking of pain medication for his at the time shoulder injury. A theory (I have) due to the fact that Min Yoongi has openly admitted to having social anxiety in the past, the pills might also represent antidepressants. Yoongi is an advocate for Mental Health care in a culture that shuts anyone (especially college students) for having a diagnosed mental health problems. In his song The Last, he raps about his conversations between himself, a psychiatrist and his parents. Also, the Trilogy refers to his previously released Mix Tape solo projects (1st album) Agust D, (2nd album) D-2 (3rd-(11 track album and conclusion of the Trilogy is D-Day. This info can be fact checked if you choose. BTW, if you're gonna watch the MVs in chronological order you'll need to know the order in which their album were released and how the songs corelate to the story in the MVs! A little bit of homework will be required for it to make more sense! For example Boy Meets ... is the intro to the song that ties into Blood, Sweat and Trears which is alsoa track on the Wings album. You might consider going live to discuss these details in real-time to speed up the learning process. BTS is always worth the discovery and effort.
