I have been loving celebrating Jimin's birthday and having an excuse to binge watch so much of his work HEH!
This interview was so amazing - seeing Yoongi treat Jimin like such a younger brother by giving him so much of his knowledge and advice and also roast him is so cute!! Their banter makes me so happy because it really shows how they truly share such a brotherly relationship and I'm just forever thankful that the universe brought them together!

On the other hand, from stage performance and visual perspective, vocal line is definitely in charge of it. So that's also why each member is equally important in this group.

Yoongi wrote the song for him and Jimin earlier on in their career, and Jimin didn't like it lmao and complained about the lyrics to Namjoon. They ended up editing the lyrics and performing it together, but I think Jimin sitll doesn't LOVE the song lmao so Yoongi is always telling him to come perform it with him and Jimin's always like "nooooo lol" (paraphrasing)

2024-10-14 05:37:09 +0000 UTCThe members have lived with each other since their trainee days. Some of them were trainees longer than the others. So Namjoon and Yoongi lived together since 2010, along with other trainees. Soon after, Hobi arrived. And by 2012, all the vocal line members were also living with them. When Yoongi and Jin talk about being roommates the longest, they don’t mean they lived together in an apartment just the 2 of them. They mean they shared a room in the BTS dorm where all the other members also lived with them. They’ve lived in 4-5 dorms at this point. The first one saw all 7 in one room. The last “dorm” they had was in a very rich neighborhood where none of them had to share rooms anymore. And that’s why Yoongi and Jin stopped being roommates since they all had their own rooms in their huge apartment. They kept that last dorm until 2022. Although around 2020, the members all started buying their own houses, there were times when they would still stay at the dorms especially during the height of promotions since it’s easier logistically for them to be in one place. They had their final dinner at their dorm during the 2022 Festa video, where they announced their hiatus and also announced that they’re all moving out of the dorm and that the lease was ending. It was quite a moment for both BTS and ARMY.

Not just that, but if the lyrics off FACE are any indication, he had a bad falling out with... someone or someones around this time. We don't know who or why, and he's never said. But more than that, I think, is that the world tour that they were about to embark upon was cancelled. Imagine, they had spent months creating the music, perfecting it, learning choreography, preparing their stage... practicing for hours and hours and hours... and suddenly, all of that was for nothing. Not just that, but these guys literally live to perform. They constantly work themselves past the point of exhaustion, and the concerts are like their reward for that. It all hit Jimin really hard, leading to him wondering, if I can't perform, who even am I? And he kind of spiraled into depression from there. That's how I understand it, anyway.

There were headlines that they were breaking up, the company's stock plummeted... just madness! I was very upset but it was because of other things they said in the video, about being burned out and being scared of our reactions to them trying new things. Personally I am so glad they took this time for themselves because obviously they needed it!

I really think a lot of their frustration in 2020, especially for Namjoon, was because of their "chapter 2" break being indefinitely delayed

2024-10-14 02:10:49 +0000 UTCTo answer your question about the timing of “announcement” and their solo debuts, they definitely planned to pause the group activity before their enlistments to give it a closure - as they described it “end of chapter 1” We will never know what’s in their contract but the time between chapter 1 and 2 is set aside for military service AND their solo promotions to explore members’ individual styles in music and stock up contents for the time they are away from ARMY. In the festa dinner, RM said it was planned this way for a long time, only COVID had pushed it out ever so slightly but nothing spontaneous from them. I believe his words, and it is actually a really good strategy. After all, it strengthened their team and kept ARMY in the loop with different promotions and like your case, brought in new ARMYs! So many K-pop boy groups waste this time away and find themselves out of the spotlight, drift apart from each other and fans. BTS is the only case I have seen it this way! Again, they are going to prove themselves right and go up even higher in chapter 2!

Muse was released summer 2024 while he is enlisted. Who is on the Muse album. All his solos such as Lie Serendipity Filter were released on BTS albums that were released before they all started making solo albums. 💜

I just thought "they were all going, Tae had just got back from a shoot and Jimin just didn't understand how hungry Tae was". The reconciliation is what makes me laugh. The fact that Jimin got drunk and was apologizing to Tae and Tae actually recorded it makes me laugh. People are so weird about things sometimes.

I always interpreted RM’s lyric in the view of ARMY, that 1% male calico cat, Jimin (or could be anyone you love) has entered our lives by accident, the chance of it is so slim yet so precious it is a perfect example of serendipity. Hence, “I am your calico cat that came to meet you” .. but honestly, Jimin🥲your existance is more rare than male calico cats…like meeting you is by 0.01% chance 💜

So Jimin was the last to join. V was the surprise member to be shown to the public. He was the sixth member to join BTS. Yes every MMA and MAMA award show where BatS has performed are legendary. I’ve seen most I think. Haha but you are best to ask help of other sweet army’s to help with the links. I do think you should see the very first until 2022. I would say my fav always changes b/c they are all amazing but 2019 is a very loved one. And Jimin kills it very elegantly.

2024-10-14 00:24:49 +0000 UTCyeah, it's pretty nuanced. I understand Tae showed up to practice straight from his hwarang filming, tired and hangry. But from Jimin's perspective (who is a bit more of a stickler on manners and hierarchy), he saw Tae putting himself before all the other (older) members, thought that was rude, and called him out. But really, the dumplings weren't the root of the issue at all... that little disagreement was just the spark that lit the powder keg. They already had a lot of tensions boiling, and so they exploded. It's funny how we've heard it told from different members' perspectives over the years. Jimin and Tae both make it sound like, yeah, it was a bad fight but not the end of the world... and clearing the air just made them closer in the end. Meanwhile, JK implies it was much worse than we've been told. makes me wonder if vmin actually threw hands or something. The way JK talks about it being so awful, I think whatever he saw scarred him for life. 🤣

Tae ordered dumplings because he was hungry, but the rest of the members didn't have food and were waiting to get back to practice. When Tae went to start eating straight away Jimin argued that Tae shouldn't make the rest of the members wait to start/continue practice while he ate, and if he waited to eat they could all eat once they finished practicing. Sometimes when people explain it they make it sound like Jimin was just 100% being stubborn and petty telling Tae to eat later when that all could have eaten right away, and the longer explanations make it seem like only Tae had food.

I twas during their Festa Dinner 2022 (June 2022) when they announced it. They just said a group activities break and will start their solo activities, which they mentioned it will be Hobi first. At that time , we don’t know what they had in store already.but they did asked our blessings and support. I recommend that video but only if you are up to bringing bucket of tears. Also at that time no announcement for militry service yet , but I was already thinking that they would if they decide to not apply the enlistment postponement where they were entitled. Hobi was first with JITB and Lola in July2022..Then Yet To Come came October 15. where they announced that Jin will be next to release a song(The Astronaut).Then October 17, The group Military announcement dropped, 2 days after their last group free concert….then each member solo and enlistment follows. As I am writing this, I am getting emotional lol…they came a long way…and we are slowly getting them back.

So when they announced the break it was super sad, because there was a lot that was said and it was for them to explore with solo activities and later we found out in more details that it was also for their enlistment. He mentions being a calico cat on Serendipity which you did say you reacted to it but haven’t released it yet, I’m assuming. Serendipity is from BTS Love Yourself: Her album. The calico cat thing I’m a bit confused on it as well. Namjoon wrote the lyrics to serendipity. Was he speaking about his feelings or through(?) Jimin? Someone explain that one to me as well. I can’t remember if joonie said jimin also helped with the track but we do know that a calico cat are mostly all females. A male calico is rare. So you can interpret it as a special someone. Who is from his second album MUSE. In 2023 they all signed a contract to stay as a group and continue working together. BTS always worked on solo stuff even before announcing enlistment. There’s plenty of solo songs like tae’s singularity, JK’s euphoria, etc that were included in their group albums. They wanted to work on solo stuff bc they wanted to explore different genres and sounds. They wanted to experiment by themselves so they can all work harder for the group and bring in their own ideas once they come back. As you see all the members have different styles, so to get a grasp on what they enjoyed and bringing it together, it’ll create even much better music. (They’re eating fish cake skewers) also peachy boo, just look at the dates when you watch the videos, you’ll get a grasp of how old it is. So yes, he already dropped the second album, MUSE. You reading these comments? 😆🤪 They’ve been together since 2010. They were put in a dorm. The two bedroom one where they were all sleeping in one bedroom. Gradually once they started being more financially stable, they moved to other apartments which had more space. Either two members in one room or three in one bedroom. I think 2-4 years ago, they started buying or renting their own places. The last people to move out of their last apartment where they lived together was jimin, jin and yoongi and jk. He meant 100 ARMYs can win the call event. I don’t think you can have multiple people in one call. Soobin is from TXT. They’re like the little brothers. They’re the second group to be apart of Bighit Music after BTS. I don’t know how the military is in the US but you don’t really lose contact in SK. You get a few vacation days, so it’s been mostly hobi, tae and joonie(?) that took those days off, they also have I think 2-3 hours of phone usage. That’s why you see again mostly tae, hobi and joonie posting on IG. Some might argue but jimin is the biggest supporter within the group. He’s the most who’s visited filming sites when the members had solo work, always posting about a member’s music release. Y’all can fight me but I stand by what I said. Doubt anyone met hobi or jimin on hobipalooza. They keep to themselves and stay in one spot. Jimin wasn’t in the crowd when hobi performed. He was on a balcony on the right side of the stage. Spotted them? Yes but no pictures or autographs. Joonie was the first one to mention he wanted to be a dad. He tends to change his answer though. I just think he needs to let things ride. He’s reached the 30s, I’m sure we’ll get this man got a partner and a dad after 😂 Jimin WAS the last person to join. Tae was a hidden member but was already in the group.
