This was SO out of left field! Here I was expecting a cute, sentimental song, ready to shed a tear or two and BAM Jimin comes out throwing the F bomb at me?! LOL!
In all seriousness, this was an insanely cool side to see of Jimin. I thought he was a pop boy through and through but I was very wrong! Just like all the members, the diversity that Jimin is capable of is super impressive and just makes me want to know more and more about him!

The first time you see Jimin with the Nevermind tattoo was in 2014 during a performance where he rips his shirt off. It was a temporary tattoo that was a hint towards their next album for yoongi’s song Nevermind. And then a couple years later in 2016/2017 I believe is when Army got glimpses of the tattoo again and kept seeing it after that so we realized he actually got it tattooed for real. Lyrics from yoongi’s song say “engrave it on your chest” so many Army believe the song means a lot to him so he actually got it engraved on his chest.

2024-10-12 02:50:51 +0000 UTCJimin has talked about it a few times, and as you watch more shows and documentaries you'll get to know more of the members' thoughts, but Jimin really struggled with certain things in the early years of BTS. His outward image being a big one, as in the persona he put on & who he is as a person. "raise a glass for the past me now set me free". Jimin's past is ofc important and his past self went through a lot, but he's now let go of all those things that were weighing him down and tormenting him, that's what he's saying. He's comfortable in who he is these last few years, in a way that he wasn't in his early years. Tbh, all of BTS have grown a lot and gotten comfortable in themselves. As a late 2014 ARMY, it's been beautiful to see.

2024-10-12 02:19:10 +0000 UTCArmies first caught a glimpse of a nevermind tattoo in 2014 (16-17 yrs old) on jimin. Army didn’t think it was real. Then in 2016 we noticed the tattoo (18-19yrs) was still there. He probably waited for the legal age to get tatted. He was the first member to get both tattoos and piercings. Way before they got famous worldwide. The other members didn’t get tatted until way later. They all have the number 7 tatted on them (2022) and of course jk has his sleeve (2019). I secretly think he has a pain kink cause rib tattoos are painful af. Jimins the kind of guy that doesn’t show off things about himself much. He does what he wants.

This song is I believe the last track from his FACE album (not counting Letter). So it shows how he’s no longer gonna be tied down to any negative thoughts, as well as people on the outside who hate on him. Usually you listen to an album from top to bottom and tells a story, that’s what he did in FACE. We knew about his Nevermind tattoo for a while now BUT the moon tattoos on his back, before this mv dropped he wouldn’t show it. We maybe got glimpses of it by accident but after SMF pt 2 dropped, he opened up a bit more to it. 🤭💛 I’m loving jimtober.
