yes, this is a good primer without being spoilery! I would add a couple of things to think about... It's hard to tell what's happening with RM and the gas station. a lot of people misunderstand because almost all gas stations in the US (and I assume Canada) are self-serve these days, while in Korea, full-service stations are more common. In the video, RM is working as an attendant, filling the tank for customers. It's a crappy, minimum-wage kind of job. One customer throws money at him out of their car window before driving off--that's them paying RM for the gas, in a very rude way. I've seen too many reactors misunderstand that scene, and think someone was stealing RMs car or something, lol I also don't think peachy noticed... when Hobi woke up in a bed (in the Korean Run MV, I think), where was he? And why might Jimin happen to be standing right there when he wakes up? When JK gets into the fight with the street thugs in I need U, look how he's behaving. Also, his expression when he steps in front of the car (which is a quick, easily-missed scene that happens while Taehyung is getting stabby). Or the look on his face in that party scene in Run, where the camera pans out and he's alone. What might all this suggest about him? And then, compare that to how he looks/acts when he fights with Yoongi. What about Yoongi? Why's he freaking out? and aside from that scene, what is he often doing with his hands? I think you noticed how Jin always has his camera. What might be the symbolism there? Also... take another look at the different photos we are shown. Is there something weird about some of them? Finally... what might all those butterflies they keep showing us mean? 😬 lmao, I feel like an English teacher tying to guide a discussion or something 🤣

So I'm gonna help you out. The BU is a story of youth. It's about these 7 boys dealing with the harsh realities of the world. A lot of it comes from their own families. These 7 boys are suffering very much. And only find happiness with each other. Even if one is missing they are not complete. Only as 7 can they really be happy. That's no spoiler just it will help you understand better the theme. Trust me when I say it's gets wild Some things to pay attention to The feathers- I need U they had the pillow fight. So the feathers will pop up more. Yes Jimin has been in a tub and near a tub in all of the MVs so far. Jimin will always be associated with water. Think back I need u mv and rewatch it and focus on everything that happens to each member. That is what they are associated with through out MVs and each of their traumas. Example someone is also associated with fire. Also 2 people to always pay attention to the most is Jin and V Jin is the main character. Watch the way Jin and V interacts with each other. Something isn't right between them. But also pay attention to Jin he is not a part of a duo. He is always on the outside or taking the pictures. His scenes are always a little different from the others Last the duos are Suga/Jk V/RM Jimin/Jhope. In the prologue V calls RM in the beginning because they are closer to each other

with regards to the BU, each individual member is associated with recurring themes that are important to unraveling their backstory. You've picked up on Jimin and water/bathtubs, V and all the graffiti, and of course, the overarching butterfly motif. 😬 And as other people have mentioned, the different member pairings (and the single member who isn't associated with any pairing)... those are important to note too. There is one set of pairings in the HYYH era, and a different secondary set in Wings era.

okay to discuss the cake? lol, Jimin himself certainly does (like in AYS, when he and JK were trying to squeeze into that baby chair). The jibooty is legendary in ARMY lore, so much that it became a fandom meme (along with yOOngi), and the boys know and embrace it 🤣

I love how you are also watching the Japanese version MVs because some people skip past them not knowing it is the continuation of the whole BU. Also don't worry if you don't understand BU, there's video summarizing the whole BU but you have to watch it at the end when you're done watching the official MVs. lso, they sing the japanese versions of their songs and japanese discography when they're doing concerts in Japan
