2024-09-09 21:04:19 +0000 UTCThe “ie” 이 ending on Jungkook-ie can be both a subject particle- meaning it is just letting the listener know Jungkook is the subject of the sentence- and also a diminutive vocative case marker, like to call him in a cute way, vs the usual informal marker “ah”. The only way to tell the difference is context! In that specific clip of Jin talking, he is talking ABOUT Jungkook to the camera vs speaking directly to him. So IMO most people would infer that the “ie” is just marking Jungkook as the subject of the sentence. If he was talking about Jungkook and wanted to make it super clear that it’s for cuteness, he could add both the “ie” AND the subject/topic particle (“ga” or “nun”, depending on the context of the discussion or what specifically he wants to imply). In written Korean a lot of the time they will shift the spelling or “write cutely” so there is no ambiguity, like 정구기 vs the correct spelling 정국이. JAMAIS VUE - Jin Jungkook and J-Hope. SO FAR AWAY - Jin Jungkook and Suga. There is only a colour coded video for this though but it's beautiful. And lastly STAY - Jin Jungkook and RM. JK initially wrote this song for his mixtape but V convinced him to add it to the BTS album. There is a live performance at Sowoozoo online concert.

Beware of the shipper videos though, Were the content is taken out of context to try and prove certain members are in a relationship. They really try to over analyse the members by way of lighting and camera angles to make it look like they are kissing. or they do slow mo videos with romantic music to show the members longingly looking into each others eyes. the worst shippers are jikookers (Jimin and Jungkook) and the the taekookers (tae and jungkook). All the members have been very touchy feely with each other just as brotherly love but these shippers live in their own fantasy and are convinced the members are a couple. Its hard to find which ones are the wholesome ones of them out of all the shipping ones. also when reacting to those kinds of videos you will end up with alot of hate comments. reacting to Jikook will attract hate from Taekookers and reacting Taekook will attract hate from jikookers. sorry for the long post but just wanted to give you a heads up first as you dont deserve all that in your comments. im loving your reactions to the guys. your such a delight to watch and make me smile when your really enjoying the content,

When Jungkook was very young, it was hard for him to be away from his parents and he even wanted to quit. It was Jin who took him to his family and treated him like a real little brother. He would take care of him, drive him to school (together with Suga), cook him meals or order food for him.
