Indeed it was. I myself prefer the Belle "B" and not my new attempt that was the "A". Although I had forgot the left part of her hair which does have a difference.

Why I did the new try? I was going for a younger looking Belle, with a more visible "pronounced" body. Although I partially like her younger looks, the face is not as game-y as the B ones. I guess if I come up with something better later on, I will change it, but for now B stays.

Moving forward, I keep drawing stuff. Although Gaston doesn't have many clean/static shots in the movie, with his body and face exaggerated constantly, I did manage to draw 3 poses of him on a single body frame. Also a few face expressions. Not too bad I guess..

Because of my inexperience I do not have a very focused approach but I try to improve on that. A constant influx of new ideas that need taming, eternal questions of "what if". Questions of how many dolls are too many (or too few), how many dolls does an adult man need to play with? Questions that every man, adult game dev, or spider faces in his every day life..

Want more examples? As soon as I finished the sketch for a game/start screen, I thought of another and sketched it as well and had to stop myself from drawing a 3rd idea. So yeh, you get it.. ^^
