Life is great ain't it? Actually no it isn't. It sucks and keeps fucking you all the way till the final destination... How was that for Akabur-like intro? It sucked.. I know..

Regardless, I am glad to "see" you all again :)

So it's been some tough months for me and here is the story. Around mid-April I got a serious injury in my lower back. An MRI I did recently shown a blown disk. I have this like for like 5 months now, although the pain has reduced greatly since the beginning and seems to continue doing so, it is a very slow progress and the doc said I may have some pain forever. You see, part of the disk's blown nucleus is protruding through the vertebrae touching a nerve. So, the pain is almost manageable now though extremely annoying when I have it, and this also cause me problems when sitting for longer times. So for now I try working standing up.

Jane (inking/color) was done while drawing standing up and didn't turn out bad at all. So I haven't lost my drawing ability but rather some of the "capacity" to work. Obviously working standing up makes things a bit slower and uncomfortable. I do hope that (slowly) this problem will go away. The problem is that in general my ability to do certain physical work is less and so seems that Patreon and such drawn-related work will be my only source of income from now on. Which was short of "my dream" but heck.. not like that. Having said that, I do not want you to start throwing more of your dollars at me. Anyone who already supports me large or small is really appreciated, Thank You guys. I just need to expand my fan base I guess.

In my quest to keep drawing I even tried drawing while lying on the bed, but that is not practical as I don't have a huge belly that would be required to make the tablet stand at a decent height to accommodate proper arm mechanics. Hell, I even lost weight and I can see my abs. So yeah, no luck there either. But enough of my troubles..

So, Jane. She is from a past sketch (same week as Mira Armstrong who won the vote), and I didn't quite wanted to let it be forgotten. Hell, I think you will have a hard time forgetting it too after you check it out in the following post for Patrons ^^

I hope I can draw some more this month, even though my Patreon is paused for September. I just want to get back to it so I will be asking you for ideas in my Patron's post.
