Taking a break. No charges for August.

Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing great , because I don't :(

It is summer alright. It is hot, humid, unbearable to work, yet there is one thing even more unbearable. Stupid noisy neighbors and their pets who have started invading this place and will be here till 20th of August, where I know things will start to get better, temperature and noise-wise.

 So among happy dog barking (or yapping) through all hours of day and night, kids going crazy (the only thing that doesn't bother me that much) and noisy people that escaped the city and came to f**k the countryside, start the heavy alcohol from 11 in the morning and crank up the music as if its the last day on earth, working is IMPOSSIBLE. Especially game work where it requires plenty of thinking and organization. I admit.. my  two-and-a-half remaining brain cells can't cope.

So I decided to PAUSE my Patreon account for a month. That means that there will be NO CHARGES for AUGUST. Things will resume to normal from September billing and on. I expect to be able to work properly again from 20-August. From experience, this is when the invaders have decided they had enough of the countryside and decide its time to head back to resume their barking in the city.

So other than that how was your week? I'll tell you how mine was.

I came up with 2 map ideas for the game (where all the accessible places/building are).

First was this low-horizon one with weird perspective, where really puts you inside the place but maybe lacks space for all the buildings I want to put in. I might be able to squeeze them in though.

The other one is this, pretty high up which show more of the place and has free space. Maybe too much free space.. 

Of course both need a lot more work, but I believe I would have almost finished that 2nd one by now if it was not for the unbearable work conditions.

Feel free to tell me what you would prefer. I promise to take your preference into consideration and then just go with mine regardless ^^

So what I will be doing this month? Most likely working on other chunks of the game, like character development which I can do away from the PC with a pencil and a piece of paper, outside, with a beer in hand and a mosquito zapper on the other. BUT, since I cannot promise anything, this is why I decided to pause the account. To be fair to you and negate any stress for me.

What can YOU expect during this month? Well.. maybe nothing, maybe a sketch here and there like the one above. I just hit this now before making the post because I wanted a little pretty something to show and not the crappy looking maps. Most likely this is Tara's final looks (face) for the game. She looks a bit confused by the PAUSE but I will make it up to her inside the game. Hang in there Tara, my love. Many hard, lengthy and bouncy adventures await you ^^
