Thank You.

With my post of chapter 64, Magna Gratia has finally come to an end...

It is a bittersweet feeling, honestly. I began writing this story in March of 2022, during a very rough period of my life. What many don't know is that I had been planning it for far longer--since some time in 2017. It was always a dream of mine to write a novel. Now that it is done, I can properly mark it off my bucket list! It ended up being around 200,000 words... That number is just staggering to me. 

I would not have been able to write this story without my coauthor and friend, Melanie. She helped me so much along the way, and I could not have asked for a better partner for this project.

I also need to thank slogro, for all the motivation and assistance, especially toward the end. She was a huge help! The finale would not have been the same without her.

Most of all, I need to thank all of you Patrons for supporting me! I appreciate it so much. Your kind comments and appreciation of this work has made me so happy, and so proud. You guys are awesome.

If you haven't read the ending yet, stop reading this post now. I don't want to spoil anything for you. If you are still reading, then I just want to say that I hope you didn't mind how happy it was. I thought a lot about how to end this, and I decided I wanted it to be happy. MG is a story that is about goodness, hope, and compassion. Letting anyone die felt wrong, despite what I was inclined to do to a certain tiny.

Although the main story is over, I will not be marking it as 'done' just yet. I have a series of bonus chapters planned, mostly non-canon silliness and what-if's, with no timeline for uploads. You might see one next week, or next year! I hope you'll enjoy then when they come out.

Last, but not least, I hope that you all will continue to follow my next projects. Writing just one thing for so long can burn a writer out. I am very excited to get back into short stories and my next (shorter) novel. They will be different, but with the same charm that MG had. You can count on that. I guess we will see when we see!

This is all for now. I plan to upload the first chapter of 'Dusk and Dawn' by the end of the month. I will also be updating you guys with my new upload schedule as soon as possible. I will see you guys later!
