2026-02-20 17:19:57 +0000 UTCOne thing I love about the series is that it really is an ensemble where all the of the characters play a role and they usually are figuring things out separately and then come together to solve the issue. They really do use a divide and conquer strategy here (and in the first season) where they all do their part in different places, to complete their goals, whether it's to rescue Will or stop the Mind Flayer. El has powers, but they constantly show us that she's just a part of the solution and she can't do it on her own. It takes everyone working together.

2026-02-20 14:37:08 +0000 UTCOne thing I just remembered, because it's a rewatch and you're watching them in pretty quick succession, is in the first episode of the series, Dustin tried to give Nancy the last piece of pizza and she slammed the door on him. He tells Mike that something is wrong with his sister 'cause she used to be cool and now she has a stick up her butt. He said she used to do things with them like dress up/cosplay for something they were doing. Can't remember what it was exactly, but may have been a D&D thing. So, with Nancy here with Dustin, this sorta bookmarked from the first episode that she's "cool" again.
