Stargate was 1 of 2 movies to win our 'Second Chance' poll, and I'm so glad it did! It's such a great premise and it really delivers on it. The cast is also awesome, and it's just an all around fun time! I also loved the way it tied into ancient Egypt.
I can see why they made a show afterwards, it seems like there's so much more they can explore. The show is definitely on our radar now!

2026-01-09 04:47:02 +0000 UTCStargate SG-1 is also an amazing show and definitely worth watching, in fact all 3 Stargate TV shows are worth watching, although Stargate: Universe is a bit...different, it is still goo in its own way. Yes that is a total of 17 Seasons and well over 300 episodes for the franchise but very few people react to it and it is my favorite Sci-Fi TV show from the late 90s to early 2000s. They did change a few things from the movie to work better in a TV show setting but I thought what they kept and what they changed worked well with the show and it is a continuation from the movie and a good saying about the two is that the show treats everything from the movie canon until it doesn't. I don't really expect many reactors to tackle this franchise but it would be amazing if more would. I would definitely love to watch you guys react to it if you ever do and I would definitely be here for that. Loved this reaction also. One of my favorite Sci-Fi movies also.
