2025-06-15 16:32:03 +0000 UTCTripping the horse is at minimum a cheap and dirty tactic but he most likely would have gotten disqualified and fined if it was real life. He only pulled that move on 1 opponent (that we saw) who was the son of Otto (the hand of the king). And the sub text of why he did it was revealed in the scene where he gets sent back to the Vale, he doesn't like the Hightower's much and he especially dislikes Otto. So it was his way of showing how he feels towards them by not playing fairly and honorably.
