Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (runtime 2:16:11) - Patreon Version

Hey Everyone!
So we're taking a tiny break from Marvel for the next 3 weeks to watch Star Wars. I've already seen the original Star Wars trilogy (though it was quite a while ago), so I already love so much about this universe... but I've never seen these ones, so I'm super excited!!

I'm absolutely loving our journey through the MCU though, so don't worry... after these we'll be starting the next phase in Marvel, woohoo! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy watching these Star Wars movies with me 😊❤️

Hehe May the 4th be with you! That's awesome you got to see the sequel trilogy on the big screen. Must have been sooo epic!

Watching these reactions today since it's Star Wars day! I was too young to see The Original Trilogy in the theater but I saw these and the Sequel Trilogy there. Episode 1 was huge in my city! We never had a line to watch a movie before this lol

Oooo that's exciting to hear about the tv shows. And yes, Jar Jar definitely wasn't the best character haha, but yeah Obi and Darth Maul make up for it.

Ohh wow... been a while since watching this. The Engrish speaking trade federation and ridiculous whatever you call that insulting Jamaican sort of speak the Gungans (especially Jar Jar) does is so cringe. Those Jar Jar seasons are like a looney toons cartoon, it's ridiculous. It's not only like the movie was written for 6 year olds but written by 6 year olds, at least anything involving Jar Jar especially. The rest of it is pretty weak too but has some moments. It's worth watching of course but man, watching this again just reminds me of how disappointingly bad this movie was but could have been so much better. Fortunately we at least get the Darth Maul lightsaber fight, probably the best lightsaber fight ever, and Obi-Wan's amazing performance by Ewan McGregor which gets better in each movie. Fortunately the movies DO get better than this one, not that that's a high bar. The new Star Wars TV shows and Rogue one are infinitely better than any of the movies outside of the original trilogy.
