The Brienne scene is one of my favorite of the whole series...Like you said, that group together, and how they're so involved in what's going on, plus their reaction...so good and of course the payoff of seeing the one person in the entire series who actually acted like a knight should act, getting knighted BY Jamie....not sure if you guys caught the connection in the scene with the little girl with Davos and Gilly. Shireen meant something to both of them plus taught both of them to read...adds a little bit more emotion to an already emotional scene :) Can't wait to see you guys watch next episode

2025-03-08 01:48:44 +0000 UTCYeah it is weird to watch, I felt so creeped out because I still think of her as a kid. But Maisie Williams was 22 when this scene was filmed, so…but still…. Ick. She will always be little Arya in my heart. Part of it she can’t help, she happens to have a very young looking face, if that makes any sense.

Heads up for next week, it is literally (as in color) very dark. It’s hard to see some scenes so if there are any adjustments to brightness you can make to your screen I’d recommend it.

2025-03-08 01:42:33 +0000 UTCI think that was mostly for the actors benefit. Exactly for that reason that you mentioned. People would keep looking at Maisie as 'the little kid from GoT' ... That's the downside of being in a successful show. People keep looking at you through that lens and it limits your future roles. By doing something like this maybe they hoped to break that perception?
