I have the audiobooks but waiting for the right moment to start listening to them. The right moment being ... after at least 1 more run of watching the tv-series. I understand they changed (for practical reasons) a few things and that might get confusing.

Gotta say, EXPANSE is an AMAZING series. It took me maybe 3 episodes, but then I was hooked! So much so that I bought all of the books and read them obsessively!

Bill B.

Hahaha you totally got me, then I finished reading your comment.

Chandra

So gorgeous! I can see why people would flock there haha

Chandra

Hahaha loved that line so much!

Chandra

It was an awesome battle, amazing shots. Also did you notice the chalk that Jon dropped before he showed Dany the cave drawings of the white walkers?LOL just kidding always thought he could have drawn them;)

John Conti

Yeah honestly, even though I’ve seen this so many times it’s so great to see through a fresh pair of eyes. I always wondered why Dany was so insistent that Jon bend the knee. I thought it was just her being stubborn (last season she admitted to considering letting the Iron Islands be independent when she allied w Yara and Theon). But Jordan pointed right away what never dawned on my for years. If the North won’t bend the knee, then why would any of the smaller kingdoms? Makes perfect sense.

Bill B.

Agree on both!! HOTD, besides dragons, is also super cool because you get to see the ancestors of the famous families we’ve come to know in GOT. And yeah sometimes if I have a free half hour I’ll just skip to the battle scene at the end of this episode. Epic!!

For GOT, Dragonstone was filmed on the island of Gaztelugatxe (good luck saying that one!) which is off the northern coast of Spain in Basque Country. It became a big tourist spot when this season aired. Good article, no spoilers contained: https://www.vogue.com/article/this-is-the-latest-vacation-spot-to-experience-the-game-of-thrones-effect

I’ve been waiting for this episode for so long! The shots of the Dothraki, especially the archers crouching on their full speed horses, in battle is AMAZING! Aaah! Totally forgot this has the scene when Arya spars with Brienne! One of my favorite scenes!!! “Who taught you how to do that?” “No One” 😉

Bill B.

Absolutely LOVED this battle, always get chills with the Dothraki and Drogon! I also vote for you guys to watch House of the Dragon!!!

Alex Ocean

Aww that makes me so happy to hear! ❤️

Chandra

I am also voting for "Yes, please". I mean it was even mentioned by Stanni's daughter in one GoT episode when she read a book about it. So if it was even approved and recommended by Sharin Baratheon (references: Daughter of Stannis Baratheon, bookworm and mentor to Ser Davos, whom she taught to read), then it can only be good. :-)

Bifi

Yes, please! Love HotD.

dave

Ya you still have House of the Dragon, which takes place during a historical event known as the Dance of Dragons which is based on the grrm book fire and blood.

Irby

Don't worry there is always ... THE EXPANSE ... The SciFi version of GoT. Sorta ....

Hans Engelen

no, no, no, you don't have 10 episodes left, you still have 28 episodes. Isn't that already obligatory for every GoT reaction journey, like seasons 9 and 10 ? :-)

Bifi

Yayy! Without exaggeration, I must say that rewatching GOT last seasons with your reaction has become one of the expected highlights of my week. Aand I'm far from being unhappy atm. Thank you for the great times Jordan and Chandra!
