Lady Olenna had banned Joffrey for spoiling House of the Dragon.

I see it that way too, just the fact that Myrcella was innocent and a victim of Ellaria's brainless revenge campaign, in which Tyene happily participated, makes the difference to me. And chopping off each finger individually and sending it to Cersei, as Ellaria intended, is no less cruel, especially if it doesn't end there. Who knows what else she was up to.

I`m on Cersei's side in this one. It's not Cersei's fault that she's superior to that annoying Dornish bitch. She got the crueler ending now, not because Cersei is crueler, but because she simply lost to Cersei. I actually think that Ellaria Sand is no less cruel, if not even crueler. Her daughter, unlike Cersei's daughter, was not someone who was innocently dragged into this, but actively participated in her mother's stupid revenge rampage.

Yes! I feel the same about all of that!

I have to disagree here. Jamie saw Myrcella die on the boat rather quickly. Horribly thing to witness for sure, and Ellaria is fully to blame. But Ellaria’s punishment of having the same thing happen to her daughter AND then being locked in chains as her daughter’s dead body rots away into a skeleton, and they can’t even talk to or touch one another… that’s a level of evil only Cersei can come up with.

“As a good friend once said, “Give me ten good men and I’ll Impregnate the bitch’ “ -Bronn, quoted by Tyrion. LOVE the callback to season 1 and their meeting on the way to the Vale. HATE how Tyrion got outsmarted and the Lannisters anticipated this and left Casterly Rock virtually undefended. Props to Jamie for his military acumen, but in the end I’m glad my girl Olenna was able to speak the truth and only suffer a quick and painless death instead of the torture Cersei would have had planned for her. Always loved Lady Olenna! Great scene to go out on!

Remember the line from earlier, about the old prophecy, “the prince or princess who was promised”. It was when Missandei pointed out that prince/princess had no linguistic gender in High Valyrian. Jon and Dany are meeting up…. Rocky start but looks like they’re sympathetic to each other.

Last time Jon and Tyrion spoke was Season 1 Episode 3… or possibly 2. Anyway a LONG time ago since Tyrion pissed off the Wall 🙂

As horrible as it is, the punishment for Ellaria and Tyene is one of the more justified tit for tat moments on the show. It's cruel yes, but I deem it fair and actually not particularly evil, in the sense of worse than you deserve. For Olenna, even though not planned for it to be so, it really is a fairly balanced end as well, other than the fact it's not as punishing as what she gave Joffrey.
