Omg you did so good guessing that Moony was Lupin's nickname, and that he was a co-creator of the Marader's Map! A+ Chandra

@Hans - If the rumors are true and Mark Rylance is cast in the TV show, I bet he'll be more accurate to the books.

Alfonso Cuaron is the strongest director of this series. He understood the assignment 100%.

This was so fun! Thank you! You are so right. Everything they talked about in the classes came true. That is one thing I love about these movies/books. Every little thing, be it a throw away line or a name (Prof Lupin) lupus=wolf, is a hint that most likely will come to fruition.

J.K Rowling came up with the idea of Dementor's when she was suffering from a spell of deep depression. Just one of the many, many, many fun facts about Rowling and the Harry Potter franchise

I agree on pretty much everything you said, though I do feel Michael Gambon sometimes just didn't embody the spirit of Dumbledore's demeanor. I know it's a somewhat controversial stance but his reactions are sometimes too ... intense compared to how Dumbledore is portrayed in the books.

This is my favorite entry of the series. Blowing up Marge, the Knight Bus, the Dementors, the Patronus, Remus and Sirius vs Severus, Remus vs Sirius, Time Travel, Buckbeak, the Marauder's Map, the Scabbers twist... this movie was packed with so many memorable moments and events that it's hard not to be a favorite!
I love that the Book of Monsters is an actual Monster LOL
the acting in this film was elevated so much, mostly due to Gary Oldman being in the room, but OMG that standoff with Sirius, Remus, and Severus is one of my favorite scenes just for the acting alone. It was so tense and well-done.
Michael Gambon was the perfect choice for taking over as Dumbledore.
"We did it"/"Did What? Good night" has to be one of Dumbledore's best comedic exchanges LOL

Yay!! I know which movie I will rewatch this evening! Also I appreciate that it is the theatrical version (the one I have). Then I will not have to resync the videos here and there^^

Get the audiobooks, trust me. Way more engaging since the author does occasionally use terms that are a bit too .... British ... Or so I found.
Edit: And since you did guess it at the end, yes your guess is right. Lupin's nickname was Mooney and with that you probably could speculate on who the others are. But I don't want to spoil the much larger picture when you read the books.
