I get it Bifi. Not trying to do anything here, Honestly had never noticed it and was excited you pointed it out.

Bill B.

Oh neat! Yeah we definitely both missed the dagger

Chandra

Ahhh okay, thank you!!

Chandra

Right!! I knew they were from a previous episode, but couldn't quite remember.

Chandra

I'm the one more often than not chatting here on Patreon comments (Chandra) and Jordan is the one with the beard/mustache/sometimes no facial hair haha.

Chandra

I knew it!!

Chandra

This Thursday! Just had to catch up a bit with Patreon voted movies :)

Chandra

Hahaha hopefully the change isn't too distracting!! It's so true though, he looks very different depending.

Chandra

a. the dagger is quite unique in design. b. it is Valerian Steel, so no there are not a lot of them in the world. c. it must have history to be mentioned in a tome in the restricted section.

Hans Engelen

Yes, exactly this, that`s why I prefer to just leave it at pointing out at a clue and let the viewer draw their own conclusions. Otherwise it could happen that I will quickly mention something that we don't know at this point or even contradict to the knowledge at this point.

Bifi

Just goes to show how deep this show is…. Even upon multiple rewatches when you think youve seen it all, you haven’t! And I love how HOTD incorporates some of this stuff. From a chain of evidence perspective…. Wow!

Bill B.

Oh boy that must have been brutal! LOL more than season 8 ranting! 😂😂Reminds me of my own mistake of preparing some sliced watermelon for a snack while I watched the first episode of the Walking Dead 😂

Bill B.

Exactly, even you has never noticed it. After all, it's just a dagger. There won't be just one in the world. I don't know if it's so remarkable that you have to notice any dagger. At best, you might remember a similar dagger because it was relevant to the story as evidence at the time, nothing more. But this random dagger has by no means quite a bit of history to it as it happens.

Bifi

In particular, I will never again make the mistake of making a delicious dinner in joyful anticipation of a new GoT episode so that I can enjoy my meal while watching Got. And then there's not only this unappetizing scene in between, no, it just doesn't stop and goes on for minutes. I ranted more in those 10 minutes than i did in the entire season 8.

Bifi

Could it be that Mr. Maplenuts also serves the Many-Faced God? When I watch videos from different time periods, current videos and then older videos, I always think there is a completely different person sitting there. It's funny how a beard can change the whole appearance. Valar Morghulis.

Bifi

Am loving these reactions! I will admit now though that I will never hear the theme song the same way again hahaha. Also wondering when the next Harry Potter reaction will drop? Can't wait for it!

Alex Ocean

Wow I’ve seen this so many times and never noticed the dagger!!! Thanks!

Bill B.

Yes that’s definitely Ed Sheeran singing. He was a huge fan of the show and asked for a cameo. 🙂👍

Bill B.

Looks like Mrs. Maplenuts (sorry guys I don’t know your names) was “getting in the mood” with theme song! Lol had to say it, that bit a couple of weeks ago had me cracking up! Love watching your GOT stuff every week!!! Edit at halfway mark when Sam is cleaning up the poop… nobody is in the mood, I want to vomit! 🤮

Bill B.

Not sure if you guys picked up that the two dead the child and father, were the same ones that the Hound and Arya stayed with for a night and the Hound was going to work for until he decided to knock him out and take their Silver.

John Conti

Dragonstone was where Stannis was based out of. So you saw it before he attacked the red keep with his ships. He was on the beach when he pulled the flaming sword. Edit: Just got to the point where Cersei tells you about Stannis being there

Going forward from here, note that they do a HORRIBLE job of conveying the passage of time. They make may leaps and jumps forward to cover the fact that everything is so far from everything else, but they don't want to show you people traveling. So you're going to run into times where you might get confused about how something is happening or when it is. When that happens, just assume they jumped ahead in time and didn't tell you.

Thomas Yanez

The dead girl and her father are indeed a memory. The hound and Arya spent the night there once and ate rabbit stew made by the girl. In the morning Arya woke up hearing a commotion and it was The Hound stealing the man's silver. They died starving most likely because he stole their silver. You missed an interesting clue also, as Sam was looking in the books he flipped past a page with a depiction of the Valyrian Steel Dagger that we saw in the first season. The dagger that was given to the assassin to kill Bran with. That dagger has quite a bit of history to it as it happens.
