As far as Bill Murray movies go, "Groundhog Day" is both funny and kind of an amazingly perfect little movie. He's great in "Caddyshack" as well, though he's more of a side character in that one (and, tbh, the main characters and story of "Caddyshack" are kind of dull; it's the side characters like Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, etc. that make it the comedy classic it is). If I had to recommend one of the two, it would be "Groundhog Day" all day. And again the next day. And the next. If y'all are down for another funny zombie movie, "Shaun of the Dead" is pretty much the gold standard. It's British and manages to be simultaneously a spoof of zombie movie tropes AND a love letter to zombie movies. There are a number of easter eggs for genre fans that you might not get if you haven't watched all the classic zombie movies (which, let's be honest, is a long slog I wouldn't necessarily recommend) but you don't need to know them to understand what's going on or to thoroughly enjoy the movie for what it is. E.g. (no spoilers) a character says to someone on the phone "We're coming to get you, Barbara," which is a reference to one of the most famous lines from George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" from 1968, the movie that originated the zombie genre as we know it. You don't need to know that to understand the moment in "Shaun of the Dead," it's just a fun reference for genre fans. If you want to delve into a non-comedy zombie movie, Zach Snyder's "Dawn of the Dead" remake from 2004 (not Romero's 1978 original) is actually really well done. "28 Days Later" is also good, has a bit of an indie movie vibe, and is a nice, modern twist on zombie movies. It's the movie that brought the idea of sprinting zombies to the forefront (whereas, before, they'd mostly been slow shamblers). And if you want something in between, "Return of the Living Dead" is a fun zombie movie with a punk rock vibe. It has a little humor to the way it plays with the tropes without sacrificing too much of the bleak darkness you typically find in the genre. The vibe is a little bit like an old EC comic book, with some 80s punk feel and a little B-movie flavor.

The end-credit scene was a reference to his role in the movie "Caddyshack" (1980). Some others you might like: "Meatballs" (1979), "Stripes" (1981), "Scrooged" (1988), "What About Bob?" (1991), "Groundhog Day" (1993), "Kingpin" (1996), "Lost in Translation" (2003) and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" (2004). And, speaking of "The Life Aquatic", if you like Wes Anderson movies, he's in most of them, but not usually in a leading role.
