With the new one coming out soon, we wanted to watch the original first, and it seriously didn't disappoint! This movie was AWESOME! You really can't go wrong with Bill Paxton it turns out... we just love him so much ❤️❤️❤️

The biggest event that has happened here is called "Tornado Tuesday" which was a tornado outbreak that occurred on June 24, 2003. The storm system produced 67 tornadoes, tying a record for the state. One of the tornadoes hit the small town of Manchester destroying every structure and sweeping away three homes. It was a "Ghost Town" by the time this happened so nobody lived in the town itself. There was a couple living a few miles outside of the town that was thinking of staying home that night but had a feeling they should visit their children. It was a wise decision since their house was destroyed. I remember visiting the area the next day and it was insane.
