2024-08-20 12:47:40 +0000 UTCOh, you owe it yourself to see The Exorcist because it's such a huge classic, and so good--but, yeah, I've seen it dozens of times, and there is a scene in it that I still can't watch without almost screaming. There is only one film that I have ever seen that's way scarier. It's called The Entity. OMG. Please don't. Just... don't.

2024-08-20 12:34:10 +0000 UTCOh, I forgot to mention, if you want to see a couple of really scary older films: The Shining The Exorcist I love The Exorcist, but it's a truly scary film. I've seen it dozens of times, I do not scare easily, and there is still a scene in it that scares the hell out of me. When it came out, people ran out of the theatre screaming. There are interviews outside the theatre with people who saw it, and one famous story has a woman who fainted. Enjoy. LOL

There are a lot of fun facts about this movie floating around in my head, but I can only think of one right now. It's been a while, so I hope I get it right. The scene in the cemetery. The skeletons are real. They aren't the plastic ones used in classrooms, but real cadavers. They were used because it was cheaper than using fake ones. The design department dressed them up to make them look fresh, but they are from real people who were once alive. You're welcome. :D
