The Dark Nexus vs The Ruined Legion vs ???

Another new poll coming at you. We're feeling some inspiration to go in either of these directions, unless someone posts something in the comments that will really inspire us to change our mind. We've previously created some of the Ruined Legion, including both Assault and Heavy Weapons, so this time we'd focus on other aspects of that legion.

Faction Name: The Dark Nexus

Overview: The Dark Nexus is a secretive and insidious faction of Tech-Scions, twisted and corrupted by their pursuit of forbidden knowledge and dark technologies. These malevolent inventors and engineers have embraced the darkest aspects of arcane and technological power. They seek to control and manipulate the world around them, driven by a hunger for power and the desire to bend reality itself to their will.

Beliefs and Goals: The Dark Nexus is driven by the belief that the secrets of the universe, both arcane and technological, should be theirs to harness and control. They seek to acquire and master forbidden knowledge and dark technologies, no matter the cost. Their ultimate goal is to dominate the world through their mastery of these dark powers, bending all of creation to their will.

Hierarchy and Structure: The Dark Nexus is organized into a series of interconnected covens, each led by a Dark Nexus Archon. These powerful and cunning leaders are the highest authority within their coven, directing the efforts of the Dark Tech-Scion Adepts and Dark Tech-Scion Dreadnoughts beneath them. The covens are connected by a web of alliances, rivalries, and betrayals, as their leaders constantly vie for power and influence within the faction.

Now, they seek to sow discord and destruction across the galaxy, fighting for the ruinous powers that have claimed their souls.

Beliefs and Goals: The Ruined Legion believes that the multiverse is a place of endless conflict and struggle, and that only the strongest and most ruthless can survive and thrive in such a harsh reality. They have rejected the ideals of honor and duty, instead embracing the brutal and unforgiving nature of chaos. Their goal is to spread chaos and destruction across the multiverse, toppling the weak and the righteous, and carving out a new order in which only the strong survive.

Hierarchy and Structure: The Ruined Legion is organized into a series of warbands, each led by a powerful Ruin Lord who has proven their might and ruthlessness on the battlefield. These warlords command the loyalty of their fellow Ruined Marines, as well as the legions of lesser Ruin warriors and cultists who follow in their wake. The warbands are often united by a common allegiance to a particular patron from the forces of darkness, but their alliances are constantly shifting as they jockey for power and favor.
