Usually I rely on photo reference for pieces like this but I did not find anything suitable. Lady-jumping-in-a-lake-closeup might just be too niche to find good photos of. :S
That is the reason why I eventually opted for making a little 3D mockup in DAZ 3D and using that for reference. The free version of DAZ comes with some basic human models and default poses. One of those poses was a jumping one so I took that and adjusted it a little bit then took a screenshot.
In the later version of the piece I also changed the aspect ratio to a vertical one to fit Lucy more nicely in the frame.
That was me art-nerding. :D
