I guess the good news is... nobody gives a rat's ass about the Olympics anymore anyway? I haven't so much as watched a hockey game or the opening ceremonies in more than a decade.

Corruption is now endemic in Russia, China, USA, EU, UK, DPRK, Iran and many more Banana Republics!! Even countries with an ancient monarchy are not immune from Corruption... one East Asian country comes to mind but is not named due to laws protecting the monarchy.
