So Xi really wants to put his bear paws into the honey pot of Taiwanese chips. I do recall similar story when Taiwan sended aid to Ukraine, CCP demanded that Ukrainians do not thank Taiwan, they did anyway. The story happened shortly before the Lu Shaye fallout iirc.
