Thank you to all of you who helped us in pre-launch to find mistakes and correct them. We officially launched the Hong Kong Lennon Wall on Sunday. We have 4,000+ unique messages so far supporting Hongkongers (or at least opposing the CCP).

Also: This website cost thousands of dollars to launch—because we paid the Hong Kong artist and we paid a tech team to build the high-end security for the site, which begins with protecting the identities of people who post. (This is definitely not something that could have been done right with WordPress.) The Lennon Wall is one of the ways we have spent the contributions you so generously give—it's our way to give back by elevating voices about Hong Kong.
