In episode 1, Sophie took me on a surprise trip to see Detroit for the first time. While we were there, we shot a bunch of footage for what would become the first Artreprenuers episode.
Less than a month later, I found myself on a plane to London after Sophie decided she wanted to travel home to see her family. I had never been overseas, and London was high on my list. In was an absolutely incredible trip filled with site seeing, soul searching and a major epiphany.
In this first of a 5 part episode, we made the 8 hour drive to JFK Airport in NYC, battling insane traffic in both New Jersey and Brooklyn before leaving our car with the sketchiest garage I've ever seen.
I thought I'd sleep for most of the 7 hour flight since it was a red-eye. Ha! While Sophie was able to catch a few hours of shut-eye, I had insomnia.
After their first adventure in Detroit, Chad and Stardust made a last minute journey to London for a week of site seeing, soul searching and a major epiphany.
After we landed, it was off to search for coffee in a city that prefers its tea and the very real struggle to find decent internet.
Finally, by the end of the first day, after being up for 30+ hours, I finally crashed out and got plenty of sleep to prepare me for the coming week's many adventures...
