The Darkness of Palesaent (2014)
Added 2017-08-16 16:22:23 +0000 UTCI first found East Coast-based muse Palesaent on Tumblr and was absolutely enthralled by the dark, sexual energy that seemed so pervasive in her work.
In 2014, she made it out to the West Coast and we immediately booked a session to shoot together.
For a variety of reasons, the shoot didn't go as planned. In hindsight, I wish I had taken her to motel room or on location in a forest or field somewhere instead of outdoor garage I was using as a makeshift studio at the time. This was the kind of girl you wanted to shoot stories and scenes with..not just place up against a textured wall with nothing else to interact with.
Still, while I didn't get as many great shots as I would have liked, I did get some that, at the time, I really liked. Three years later, I still like the images but wonder what kind of work we could produce today under different conditions.
