JULY PHOTO SET: The Bone Witch, Arielle Rose and Laura Wrong
Added 2017-07-14 13:21:07 +0000 UTCI first met Leo Olsen, aka The Bone Witch, during my 2015 West Coast road trip. We drove up the side of a mountain in Santa Cruz and shot a bunch of great stuff in the nearby forest.
Leo would return a year later to LA with two friends--Arielle Rose and Laura Wrong--in tow. Wearing horned headpieces designed by Leo herself and clothing designed by Arielle, these three really brought their A-game for this shoot.
This shoot also marks the very first appearance of my "painted" style, which I've since worked on refining and exploring over the last year. I bounce back and forth between this style and a more conventional one now, depending on the muse.
Technical Details: Shot on a Canon 5d mkIII, a Canon 100mm macro lens (my absolute favorite portrait lens) and an Einstein head with beauty dish.
