Added 2016-02-15 19:44:53 +0000 UTCI first noticed Bridget K. dancing with friends at my local dive bar. I was absolutely taken by how beautiful she looked out there on the dance floor and made it a point to get her name from a mutual friend.
We started talking over Facebook and a few weeks later hung out together and became fast friends. Originally from the swamps of Louisiana, Bridget's been in LA for a few years working on an event coordinator.
Almost a year later, I finally convinced her to come pose for me.
"I'm the most awkward girl you'll ever photograph," she insisted.

I had originally intended to keep these in color to show off the beautiful pink dress, but felt it just worked better in B/W, which added a timelessness to it.

There is something about her that comes across so well in a photo. Some people do just have something about them and if that's called awkward I am all for it. What made you choose black and white?
