I first found Sperohhh on Instagram when she posed for Corwin Prescott. I was immediately taken by her striking, powerful face. After liking several of her images, Sperohhh contacted me about shooting on her next L.A. trip.

As it would happen, I had just recently bought myself a late Xmas gift--a Canon 5DmkIII and a 100mm L series macro lens--that I was dying to put to good use.

I gotta say, I'm really, really, really happy with how the portrait above came out. The new camera and lens have really opened up the next level for me. I've not had a chance to use it again since shooting Sperohhh but hoping to rectify that sooner than later.

I know it's been rather quiet here during the winter months, but I'm plotting a ton of material to debut here soon.

TECH DETAILS: As mentioned, I used my new camera and lens for these shots. The window shots are strictly daylight lit, while the 2 studio shots were done with a single beauty dish on the left side of the camera and a bounce directly beneath her. The slight shine on her right side comes from window she's near.
