The day after getting back to the States after a stint in a circus in Dubai, Maegan Machine stopped by the house for an early afternoon shoot.
One of the challenges of these kinds of shoots is two-fold: first, after living here for 3+ years, I've shot the hell out of this place; secondly, because I'm working with daylight, I'm limited as to where in the house I can shoot.
Still, sometimes being challenged to come up with new interesting shots when faced with those two obstacles forces you to really use your creative brain to come up with something fresh and interesting.
In the end, we found a few new little spots of light to grab some shots as well as doing the standard "shot through glass" look that I love to do with my balcony door.
Technical Details: Shot with a Canon 7D with 50mm 1.4 and 24-70mm 2.8 lenses. Lit with natural daylight at approx. 1pm.
