I first met Michael "Roz" Rosner back in the MySpace days. He was a painter from up North and we shared a mutual respect for each other's work.
Years later, I ran into Roz during the production of Chamber of Echoes' "World of Silence" music video. Roz was doing body painting now, creating these elaborate biomechanical patterns reminiscent of artist H.R. Giger.
A few months after the video, Roz invited me over for a group shoot with several models. One of those models was a feisty redhead named Rebecca Case who donned a crazy mohawk headpiece designed by Miss G Designs and some custom armor pieces by Joshua Maddox.
This would be the first of nine collaborations between Roz and I over the course of 2014. Most of these images haven't been shown anywhere yet, and I'll probably be releasing a lot of them via Patreon over the coming months.
Technical Details: Shot with a Canon 7D with 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 2.8 lenses. Lit with natural daylight for outdoor shots and a single Einstein head with 3ft ProFoto Octa softbox.
