[Thursday] News Updates: Venice Beach, On the Road and some Random Bits

Welcome to Week 4 of my Patreon Community!  You're still here, and I'm still kicking out the jams every day.  It's been a slow week, so let's dive right in.

VENICE, FINALLY

I've lived in Los Angeles now going on 14 years, but I've never visited the fabled Venice Beach part of town.  That all changed on Friday, when I headed down to shoot a beauty by the name of Ananda Joy (seen above).  Ananda just recently moved here from New York.  I found her while surfing Instagram one day, and after a brief chat, we decided to do a shoot.  Look for her upcoming photo set, probably next week.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

I've recently decided that I'm going to give in to the wanderlust that's been plaguing me the past few years.  I'm do a little travel test run next month where I'll be headed to New Orleans to spend a week attending burlesque shows and shooting Miss Lillian Winters herself for an upcoming book similar to Katie West Goes to Hollywood.  I'm absolutely thrilled to go out and have an adventure like this.  If all goes as planned, I'll be hitting the road again in early 2016 to travel to a variety of spots across the U.S. to shoot photos, videos and to write a pair of screenplays with my new co-conspirator Meghan Chadeayne.

RANDOM BITS

I've spent most of the week catching on picture and video edits.  I've got a new Melissa Drew video that is, frankly, hot as hell that I can't wait to release to my video patrons.  Meghan's Mort de Druantia is currently being scored and should be ready for its release on the 15th of this month.

I was recently approached by one of the producers of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. about doing photography on a personal freak show project he's developing.  Everything's in the early stages, but this should be something that's a lot of fun if we manage to pull it off.

Had a headshot shoot this morning with my beautiful friend and makeup artist Becca Brassfield that turned into her first nude shoot.  Life is just kinda like that sometimes.  Definitely no complaints here.
