I’m late to the conversation here but I HIGHLY recommend Scott McCloud’s book “Making Comics”. It goes really in depth in the art of comic making, from panel composition to how to portray events and characters in comic format. Its a fantastic read : D

Especially since this image seems to show the conclusion of Akari's adventures and I would like to find out more about her. ^^ Especially because of the Oni behind her. X3
