Thank you! That's pretty much how I use the Lasso tool, but even before that, I use it during the stage of exploring base shapes, or sometimes I'm just playing around hoping something interesting will appear. During the sketching phase, when trying to conceptualize broad shapes, I believe brush-based line art — where the lines themselves are thin shapes (though such intricate shapes can be appealing and maintain motivation) — can complicate the information, potentially hindering the goal of creating broad shapes. That's why I believe the Lasso tool, which lets me quickly place pure shapes, could enhance my drawing experience. (I've only recently started using the Lasso tool for sketching, so I don't yet have a solid logic for this approach. Also, the sketches I've shared publicly so far might contradict the ideas above!)
