An Unwanted Visitor

Hi guys and gals. There sadly won't be a page today as we discovered that someone tried to break into our house last night whilst we were asleep. Naturally sleeping the next night was next to near impossible but I'll be concentrating on getting some extra security and of course, trying to calm down.

Turns out this fellow was targeting a few houses in our general area and was even successful robbing a few of them but for me my main concern after looking back at the door dash cam footage is that he appeared to have what looked like a rather large knife in his back pocket. He most likely was only going to use it to scare us off if he was successful getting into the house but knowing some type of intent was there was enough to rattle me further.

Anyway, I do Apologize for there not being a page today but I'll be back in the swing of things tomorrow again. I just need a day to concentrate on this but I don't want it to also dominate my anxiety so hopefully this'll be the last time he'll come to our door. We even found damage on the frame of our door so he definitely used the knife to try and jimmy it open.

Police have been informed, security will be beefed. Hopefully that's the end of this bitter saga.
