August 2023 week 3 art
Added 2023-08-19 21:35:46 +0000 UTCWhile I would like to say that the Korok Zelda work is the centerpiece for this time, it would not be what I put the most effort into this week.
That trophy begrudgingly goes to this glorious shitpost of an illustrated fanfic for a trash isekai show that no one asked for, no one is going to recognize, and *really, really* did not deserve over 4k words and 7 whole illustrations (I kept them to mostly sketches, thank God). I was going to do one or two more pics for it before I had to forcibly stop myself because this really is not worth putting more time into.
Anyway, despite saying I didn't want to write this month, I ended up writing a bit. I still have my Discord Story Exchange story to finish as well. orz
I'm strongly considering taking it a bit easier this coming week, so next week's post may be sparse or absent entirely. But who knows what flights of madness may claim me between now and then, so we'll see.
Hope y'all have been enjoying art month. Let me know what you think of it (is the once a week fine or would you rather I shotgun upload stuff as soon as I finish it even if it makes posts a bit more irregular?), and if you wouldn't mind doing this more often (I'd certainly appreciate the writing break, and I think it has helped me be more productive). For instance, October is classically Suitober, and it's always a challenge to draw something every day and try to pump out two stories, so I would like to dedicate October to an art month as well with a focus on Suitober stuff.
