Here is Melanie Murphy showing us it's not wise to mess with anyone she cares for. She was about to meet her son in law for lunch at a café downtown to plan for her daughter Cassandra's birthday, and when she was close she sees Connor arguing with some guy whose car had rear-ended his car while trying to beat Connor to a parking spot. The argument had gotten heated and the man was starting to get violent.
Before the irate man could do anything to her son in law, Melanie gets close and in his plain view rests her foot on the bonnet of the man's car and pushes down. The steel frame and fiberglass shell was no match for the strength of Melanie's 2.8 metric ton muscular body. The hood is crushed against the engine block, the shock absorbers collapse and are ripped from the frame, and the front tires burst from the pressure.
"Stand down, or would you like me to step on you?" Was all she had to say to stop the argument cold. The violent man dropped to his knees, nearly soiling himself, and awaited calmly for the police and insurance companies to arrive. No one was charged with anything but the man had to pay for all damages. He tried to argue that most of the damage to his car was not caused by the accident but a sharp look from Melanie shut him up and he accepted the cost as penance for his belligerence.
