Character Management

Hello everyone,

Here is something I've been working on. As you may know, over time we've been introduced to over a hundred characters, with over 70 meta girls so far. I would love to make stories with all of them but you can imagine that is quite unmanageable so I've decided to simplify the cast using a format as they use in movies and TV. Define who are the leads, the supporting cast, and other extras and stand alone characters.

The premise is there is going to be one central story arc for everyone. Think of it as the avengers movies. The main characters like Thor, Captain America, and Ironman had their own stories but all lead to avengers. We'll do something similar, with our own main global story and with each lead having their own stories that will converge in a singular event down the line.

I set out to define 5 main characters who will push the main story forward but at the end I could only trim it down to 10. All other characters are either supporting characters whose stories will be explored as they interact with the leads, or stand alone characters who will be there, have short stories in that world, be affected by the events but are tangential to the main story.

Choosing the leads was down to a handful of criteria. 1) If the character had already lots of story behind her or had a well established cast of supporting characters. 2) Fills a role required for the main story or is the anchor to a group. 3) a more subjective, I really want that specific character to have the spotlight.

So here are the 10 main characters:

1) Rose Dumont. She is the POV character for all the new stories dealing with the ATF. Her supporting cast includes Her team mates, Jane and Laura, and her enemies, like Mantis, DeeDee and Stacy. She will be the front for stories dealing with law enforcement and good girl versus bad girl confrontations. She and her team will have their ever growing Rogues Gallery.

2) Tammy Anderson. She will be the anchor point to the "furry" aspect of our cast. It includes her very numerous family and will explore the possibility of characters with other animalistic characteristics popping out.

3) Vicky Chang. We already have some stories with her and she is a natural choice as a member of the lead ensemble. Through her we'll see the Vixens like Sofia, Ebony, Scarlett, and Grace.

4) Cassandra Murphy. The most powerful woman in the world aside from the cosmic twins and direct descendants. We have some established lore around her with her origin story well defined, so we have a good foundation to build upon. She is one of my earliest characters and should be up in the A team.

5) Tania Brown. Introduced in comics for Amazonias, Tania and her family have a good chunk of story under them. Unlike most of our "big gun" characters, Tania and her family are canonically not as powerful as a Scarlett, Helga, or Makayla. She and her family will have a more street level feel. Think of them as your Daredevil or Luke Cage type characters.

6) Lynn Chen. Another ground-level character. Through her we'll have contact with the established characters in the Muscle Bombshell series, such as her sister Mey, mother Min, and friends like Peach, Mindy, and Danica. Lynn will be our Dominant character with whom we'll explore kinks like submission and domination.

7) Nanda. She is the anchor to our Futa characters. Honestly it was between her and Danielle and ultimately chose Nanda since she has already some connections with other characters established, mainly Vanessa. Regardless, all our known futa characters and more to come will feature with her.

8) Xiomara. She is very special to me since she is from where I'm from. I always wanted to give her more to do and this is a good chance to do so. I'm still figuring out what role she'll play in the global storyline.

9) Kara Adams. We couldn't have a lead roster without the Cosmic Twins. While both twins are equally important, I decided to give the spotlight to Kara since at the moment she is the one with a more interesting plot mapped out. Through stories with her we'll explore the more celestial and mythological aspects of our "universe" and we'll meet more of their children scattered throughout the cosmos.

10) Makayla Lewis. Our first ongoing comic and our youngest Lead. Her story is more of a teen drama/adventure. Since she has only recently become a meta human girl and a newcomer to our fictional city of Key Lake City, she will learn about the world and take us along for the ride.

In the cases of Tania and Lynn, and any other character created for external comics such as Amazonias, we'll try to keep the stories separate but connected. What I mean is, what we write here won't contradict what's established in those comics or vice versa and neither will be required read to follow the other.

Right now we are invested in Makayla's comic but soon we'll start posting pages from a second ongoing comic with one of our other leads.

Cheers!

-Kurt

I really hoped to see Mey Chen instead of Lynn Chen as main character, i found her hotter, sexier, stronger and more muscular

You can imagine how tough it was to define only 10 leads. Every other girl also deserves to be up there, but one thing is to manage 10 main stories and try to include most of those characters on those stories, than having to manage 70+ separate stories.

She will have her time in the sun, I promise. It's like right now in the Makayla comic, the protagonist is spending a lot of time with Rose, even if it's Makayla's story. In a similar fashion, we'll have times where we'll spend a long time with DeeDee, and every other girl in our roster. It will just take place in someone else's main story.

The cosmic twins story was written a long time ago and I kinda wrote myself into a corner with them. I love them as a concept, twin sisters who were granted great power by entities who live outside our universe, and who are much older than our own world. The problem was, as you well put it, how do you challenge them or how does one prevent the other characters from becoming irrelevant. That's the reason why we've had mostly pinups of them so far outside that one story in the early 2000s. However, I think they have a place in our story if we keep them separate from the other characters. They won't "join a team" or fight against the others but their adventures will have a much grander scale, more to their level.

I was also hoping for pandora to be on a more center spot

I was hoping for a DeeDee spotlight too

I'm quite new, and don't understand the point of the "cosmic twins". You make them so powerful they would unbalance and thus spoil the whole thing, like Captain Marvel did to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fortunately I have not yet encountered much of them in the stories so have not had this problem so far.

Oh they'll still be around, but more as stand alone characters. Pandora for example is more of a lone wolf character, she has a friendship with Emily but for the most part she is doing her thing, causing mayhem. We'll still see her a lot doing all sorts of bad things on the side. And in the case of DeeDee, she'll be a part of Rose's story arc. She and Stacy will be featured a lot in the form of antagonists.

Kurt Logan

I guess I was hoping for at least one "evil" main character. Maybe DeeDee, or Pandora.
