Won't get into it but glad to be close to calm waters. Should be a lot more free both in time and emotional bandwidth to get back to work on some long-awaited projects. I thank you all so much for being supportive and patient during this transition, I genuinely crave boring status quo at this point lol
This week, I'm going to be talking about the Ukrainian film Mavka and then the Colombian film Regue Chicken. Legit having a blast talking about non-American animated movies, both are very true to their respective cultural backgrounds plus the Mavka movie has one of the most insane production stories I've ever heard. Has to do with the Russian invasion and how the movie was almost cancelled due to that. They made it though!
That's about it for now, looking forward to the rest of this month but especially September's schedule. Expect to see me a LOT more active here in the very near future. Take care folks!
