Weekly Update: January 11th, 2022

Hey folks! Hope y'all are doing well. Got a few updates for ya! First off, this week's video will be a side-by-side upload comparison of the Joshua Reanimated video to its original footage. Figured that would be a fun way to showcase what animators did with their original scenes!

After that, expect a video where I talk about the Chinese ripoff of Gumball called Miracle Star! I know a bunch of other channels have already talked about this subject but I really want to check it out. To be honest, most of those uploads don't talk much about the folks behind of the cartoon and just comment on the episodes instead which is totally fine. Like I still am not sure what studio made this clone but I'm going to try my best to find out because I'm very curious about the origin of this shameless clone

And bringing up the rear of January is a video where I talk about the bizarre and shady world of NFT and crypto cartoons. It's a bizarre subject for a very controversial field. NFT cartoons are on the rise and many of them lack the quality and conviction that most traditional shows and movies have. Seems to be a PONZI and MONEY LAUNDERING SCHEME TO ME. Seriously, the entire ordeal is stupid and wreaks of ulterior motives and I can't wait to put the genre on blast

That's it for now! Thanks for the support and hit me up if you have any questions!

It's been a while since you've talked about a shameless ripoff, and Miracle Star seems to fit the "shameless ripoff" criteria to a tee. Based on what we saw on Twitch, various aspects of Gumball are straight up copied (including the animation if the GIF above is anything to go by), and the fact that Gumball actually took them to task in an episode of its own show is awesome. Miracle Star definitely deserves the What the HELL is... treatment...I am certain that you'll give it the criticism it deserves. I am equally sure that you'll show no mercy when it comes to talking about NFT cartoons (or NFToons as I like to call them). I, for one, agree that it's an enormous scam...one that shows no signs of ending anytime soon. Based on what we saw on Twitch, these NFToons can get far, FAR worse in quality than Red Ape Family. Since your Red Ape Family video has been viewed over a million times, I'm sure this NFT-based video will also become popular... anything to warn people about the NFT scam that's sweeping the nation! As for the Joshua Reanimated side-by-side comparison, it will be cool to see how the Reanimated scenes compare to the original version. The Joshua Reanimated video was a hit in my eyes, and this video will surely make a solid epilogue to such a massive project. Stay safe and stay cool, Saber! =)
